You forgot to mention the Harmony MC, superbreak Himeko is crazily good and I completely crushed all modes with her this patch. Also, this patch is finetuned to Firefly, who is aoe fire damage dealer as well as Himeko, so Himeko is performing even better this patch.

To this day, himeko is the only 5* standard character that u don't have because i had to pick bronya from the selector for jingliu but I wqnt himeko so bad for doing cool stuff in pf that I leveled all the characters on my account to 60+ for standard tickets which gave me E3 gepard today... It's getting so frustrating to the point i would rather lose 50/50 to himeko on the character banner rather than winning.

Imo this video spreads major misinfo. Bronya is definitely still the #1 pick from the standard banner as her synergy with dps like boothill, seele, and jingliu is still insane. Himeko is actually not needed at all. Herta is given for free and all of her eidolons and is the best character for pure fiction period. If you pick up bronya before u hit the 300 pity then himeko is the 2nd best option, but if not, please get bronya.

​@@reginaldmustardbacon5866 Definitely gonna have to disagree. It's apparent that recent end game content are leaning towards certain 5* harmony characters in order for a comfortable max clear. What isn't required at all for a f2p player to pick up is a 5* sustain. Fu xuan, aventurine, and luocha are completely overkill in terms of sustain, and in most battles you'll rarely even find yourself needing their full utility in order to win with max score. The ONLY 5* sustain I could recommend to pick up is huo huo. Her healing isn't overkill unlike luocha, she provides team wide cleanse and teamwide energy and atk% from her ult. Always spend jade on limited 5* harmony and never on limited harmony or preservation unless it's huo huo.

​@@moxielovesu you clearly have no clue what you're talking about if someone has sparkle and robin they don't need bronya and the characters you mentioned can work with sparkle in fact seele is better with sparkle since bronya still uses too many skill points at e1 boothill can take either one but still would prefer ruan mei and jingliu while yes she prefers bronya i've used her with sparkle plenty of times simply bc my sparkle has more crit dmg than my bronya there's no notable difference in jingliu's performance except being more consistent in damage with bronya i'd say if you care most about moc/apoc shadow and don't care for pf bronya's best but if you do want to do pf himeko is better plus as a f2p telling ppl to skip limited 5* sustains is terrible advice bc lynx requires too much investment and gallagher requires e2 for comfortability and it's not guaranteed you'll get it unless you've played events where he's free and you don't go for anyone else huohuo is amazing i'll agree on that i use her the most but my lack of second sustain made me pull fu xuan and she's a lot easier to build and saves me quite a lot i no longer need double sustain just to clear moc on whichever team doesn't get huohuo and from using my friend's sustains aventurine is also amazing esp against the soda monkey since it requires shields and you can always use more damage luocha i'll agree he heals too much unless you're using blade and in my experience uses too many skill points in higher moc levels but i'd still recommend him to anyone who needs him when he comes back

@cinnamaricat ever figured that seele's beat team includes sparkle AND bronya as well as boothill's best team includes ruan mei AND bronya. I understand where you're coming from though and maybe I'm wrong ab the sustains but ruan mei's banner is CRACKED for f2p players as not only is ruan mei the best support in the game rn but the 4* chars are xueyi, gallagher, and misha. Xueyi and gallagher are arguably the best 4* characters of their roles and misha is irrelevant so that leaves the 4th slot for hmc, which is free. That's an entire team in 1 banner for a f2p player. This is why u always pull for the limited 5* harmony no matter what. Firefly is cool and all but you're going to need at least 200+ pulls (if bad luck) if u want to even use her as a f2p considering without ruan mei, her problems stick out like a sore thumb.

1.0 I lost my very first LC pulls on Jing Yuan banner to Himeko’s LC. She didn’t come until I picked her from the 300 selector. I like how easy she is to slot in different teams. Addition classic Herta tag team she can be a good addition to most follow up teams and her kit enjoys the recent brake meta too. Not the most powerful but quite useful. Especially in PF.

I just started playing a week ago and Himeko has my favorite Japanese VA same as my favorite character from genshin Lisa. So I really liked her from the start. Somehow by the blessings of the aeons I got her by “losing pitty” on Ruan Mei which was a win for me! And then I got her light cone on the standard banner 4 days later! I think I’m extremely lucky and I won’t take her off my team ❤

Depends. If you use Bronya a lot and are not considering on pulling for Sparkle, then pick her E1, it is very useful. In every other scenario, Himeko is the better pick since she is a very good unit to use on PF.

yeah you bring up a great point about how pure fiction shouldve been out at the same time but i dont think they would do that since they prefer to stagger content to make each patch look more incentivizing. but regardless, myself and many people didnt invest in erudition and didnt pick himeko for the 300 selector because she was in such a bad spot and now i regret it. theres so many people who play hsr had herta at lv 1 and then only invested in her because she became a pure fiction god.

Departure Banner blessed me with Himeko My first 50/50 loss was for Himeko The Cosmodyssey Personality Test said i was closest to Himeko The "Yearly recap" said my most used character is Himeko (i started only in v2.0 though, but i do the Trailblaze Missions & Continuance with the Express crew) Every time there is a choice to make and we can ask Himeko opinion, i already know in advance we'll share a similar reasoning Too bad i don't drink coffee ☕

If you don't have at least 2 good supports like Sparkle, Robin, Ruan Mei etc. I would recommend Bronya. Otherwise Himeko is the better choice

Personally, I disagree that Himeko is *the* best standard character just because of a specific mode that she shines in. And just because the current MoC is suited for Himeko's kit because it is break focused. Of course, Himeko was not bad even at the start. She does excel at modes filled with mostly small enemies which why she is the "queen of PF" (Well, until Jade was introduced) In my opinion, when I think of the "best standard character" I think of someone that's good in almost everything, if not good in everything. Which is why I say that Bronya is still the best because unlike Himeko, she is good for both earlygame and endgame. Speaking as someone that managed to get her from the beginner pulls. Even after the introduction of Sparkle, Bronya does have some usage because of how sparkle's skill does not actually give characters an extra turn but advances them forward. So there can be times where Sparkle fails to bring up a character. Even in hypercarry break teams, Bronya much preferred due to that gurantee extra turn. I won't lie and say that Bronya is all perfect, of course not. At E0S0, she is very SP negative, so it's best to pair her up with someone that is sp positive or neutral. (Which is why Jingliu and Blade is so good with her.) Bronya at least can be used for most modes like MoC, GnG, SU and even PF (though it's much harder to do so, I admit.)

Good arguments. I got Bronya as my first 5star and she has been useful from day 1 to still now after a year of playing. Even if I also have Ruan Mei and Sparkle (and all the 4star harmony) Bronya has still stayed relevant. She’s on my teams regularly.

I like your videos, but this is one I gotta disagree with. Even if you have her signature or jing yuan's her damage just isn't there. I'd say that clara is the best standard, she can get consistent 30-70k followups, combined with the free lynx and holy jesus she can carry the game. I wouldn't say the himeko is bad, but I'd say gepard, clara, bronya, and welt are better (iffy on the gepard though).

@@electrickzy the biggest strenght of standard 5 star characters is that you are likely to get eidolons. Welt, Bronya and Clara are the characters that scale the best with eidolons (at least in my opinion).

Bronya fall off in your account , not me . If I play break team on other side of MOC for example , I bring both Sparkle & Bronya . Remember She have cleanse & ATK UP & 100% ADV ( which suit most hypercarry like Jingliu ) . But my Bronya is S2E1 so her support got improved for having more skillpoint .
