Missile Towers being able to fire at ground targets is the only thing that I don't like. But I can see the lasers of the Sumos have a longer range here, when compared to OTA. Do the Light and Heavy Laser Towers got a range boost as well? And what about Cans?

I get the appeal of that from a spectator standpoint. Missiles were always designed to shoot ground and air though. Sure you can change that, but that’s not direction prota wants to go down. ProTA is more about preserving how the original game is designed but with balance changes to the units to make them more viable. There are other mods for that style. Yeah sumos, cans, and the laser towers were buffed all around from OTA to make them more useful.

I think its more "realistic" that missles can shoot ground and air targets. nobody would build a missile system and arbitrarily neuter its ability to shoot at ground targets

The game was hosted this way on accident. We decided to play it out because we already spent like 20 minutes trying to get the game going (restarts and connection issues). It wasnt a serious game but turned out to be fun lol.
