Cool. i wouldn't keep the juniper inside, though. Try using lipstick as cut paste it works just fine. 👍 well i hear a nigel video in the background so you started in a good place lol

Welcome to the Bonsai krew man.. im from Mexico but now living in germany... look for trees that grow in your area good ,like a pine tree or an oak tree..and if you have space out side u can also start there.. indoor bonsai is pretty hard to maintain.. ur juniper should be outside after winter or all the time actually

Hey! Thank you. i appreciate the comment, i know my juniper and my elm should probably be outside, but we had a super cold snap 6 degrees Fahrenheit out at night so ive been scared the roots will freewze, hoping i can keep it indoors until it returns back to the ulper 30s. I should probably keep it in a darker cool room though!

Dude, that tree could really do with being placed inside a standard plant pot for a few years. Even if your final bonsai is intended to be Shohin, it can be trained to fit inside a smaller bonsai pot at a later stage once the branching and roots are more established than is the case now,,,,,!

Hey, good point. I've been a little scared to repot until spring, but i want to repot all three this spring as they were in mostly organic soil, and i want to check the roots! Does it really matter if i wait until soring on the indoor plants that are producing new growth?
