While that karma was satisfying, it really wasn’t enough for me. Throwing Chris at a lake? That’s compensation for the season-long abuse and humiliation he subjected them to? There were injuries, starvation, vomiting, animal attacks, and so much more torture. Throwing Chris at a lake made up for that? 🤨

​@@muhammedcamara7670 I'd say it's a valid enough punishment, Season 1-2 Chris was a jackass but he still had the morals to keep heavy tabs on the challenges and to not outright send the campers on suicide missions. If anything most of those injuries were from the campers intentionally sabotaging each other behind his back, accepting challenges that Chris would sometimes explicitly say they could refuse, or from some crazy x-factor like the wildlife that they all probably signed up for anyways

Though, I believe Chris was at his most tame in Season 1 as he was more of a mean jokester with a love-hate relationship with the cast. Season 2 had him become crueler with blatantly evil smiles, laughs, and outright admitting how much he loves torturing the cast.

Theory: After a lot of Total Drama fans hated how Chris McLean was portrayed in All Stars and Pakhitew Island and that he even got away with his villainous crimes in those two seasons, the crew of Total Drama have decided to replace him with Don (a much friendlier and less evil version of Chris) in The Ridonculous Race, so he (Chris) wouldn't cause any more harm to the Total Drama contestants ever again.

I must say I have always watched the show in french and I feel like Chris's voice in the french version (Louis in France) makes him a lot more loveable and a lot more iconic because of his sarcastic tone, maybe it's because i grew up with this voice but it's so weird to me to listen to his english voice and i feel like if i had watched the show with his english voice i would'nt have liked the character as much as i did my whole childhood😂. Both voices are really good tho. Anyway, this is interesting cuz it shows that little details like the voice for exemple really have an impact on the characters and how you perceive them.
