Just my opinions of Unfair or Eliminations that didn't make 100% sense from Total Drama Island.

My guess is that Heather did get voted off on that challenge, but Chris rigged it to take out Justin because A.) Justin brought nothing to the table for ratings. And B.) He really liked how Heather was playing the game and wanted to see how far she’ll go

My list: Tyler: Completed his phobia challenge but Chris didn’t count his point for some reason Courtney: Votes rigged against her Lindsay: I don’t like this challenge at all. First of all, Izzy and Leshawna skipped the challenge. Gwen, Geoff and DJ all got eliminated in the first part. Duncan and Owen wiped out. Yet Lindsay gets eliminated over these seven BECAUSE she did well in the challenge. DJ: He wasn’t caught first, and I also think that the idea for sudden death was made up on the spot so Heather wouldn’t get voted off Leshawna: No need to explain why Duncan: There wasn’t a voting, instead Chef just kicked Duncan out because he didn’t like him.

What I find ironic is that Leshawna was kept in the game despite doing something that *should've* gotten her eliminated 3 times (trusting Owen of all people to guard the food in the cooking challenge, not even participating in the bicycle race, and telling the group to split up during the killer challenge, which is what led to the campers getting picked off one by one), and yet when she finally does get eliminated, it's one of the stupidest, contrived eliminations in the whole series

And for Geoff's elimination it makes no sense as to why they chose to vote him off, when Heather is right there to be eliminated without invincibility, but they say that they can't beat nice. Like you would think that Gwen, Leshawna, Owen, and maybe even Geoff would vote for Heather

Sure, Leshawna might've agreed that Geoff's popularity could be a threat, but Gwen and Owen still should've voted for Heather, and if Geoff did too, then it should've been a tie. But instead, Heather isn't even in the bottom 2. Gwen is, despite nobody in that episode having any reason to vote for her.

My headcannon vote outs about these unfair & illogical eliminations of TDI: Justin's elimination: 5-4-1 votes 1 vote for Trent: Cody 4 votes for Heather: Gwen Leshawna Trent Justin 5 votes for Justin: Heather Lindsay Beth Izzy Owen Beth's elimination: 4-3 votes 3 votes to Heather: Beth Gwen & Trent 4 votes to Beth: Heather Lindsay Leshawna & Owen Sadie's elimination: 5-2 votes (makes sense) 2 votes to Harold: Duncan & Sadie 5 votes to Sadie: Harold Geoff Courtney DJ Bridgette PS: Even though DJ cost their teams challenge, he at least has better social game than Sadie. For Courtney, her rigged elimination was totally unfair, no more words to say here. As for Bridgette Lindsay DJ and Leshawna, their BS eliminations dont make any sense and it seems like the writters only care about the favoritism to other screenhog characters over the ones who are popular by their fans. As for Heather's elimination it was satisfaying iconic moment in the show but unfair at the same time eventhough she completed the dare but refused it since they were NO RULES!

Most Unfair Total Drama Eliminations: Justin-Him and Heather both got 5 votes. So it would have been a tie. Tyler-He completed his challenge but it wasn’t counted. Courtney should have been eliminated here. Beth-Heather was way more hated, and Owen ate the ribs costing the team the win. Sadie-DJ costed them the challenge and Harold was the most hated on the team. Courtney-Harold rigged the votes and if he didn’t, he would have been going home. Bridgette-Her, Gwen and Leshawna voted Duncan, Heather, Lindsay, and Izzy voted Owen, Geoff didn’t vote and the rest of the boys voted Bridgette. It would have been a three way tie then. Unless Geoff lied. Lindsay-She was purged out of the competition and she crossed the line. Somehow Owen and Duncan was safe even though they didn’t make it. DJ-All DJ did was scream due to Heather scaring him. Owen and Izzy were captured first due to love reasons and the goal was to be the best survivor in a Horror Movie. Geoff-Leshawna and Duncan won. So Heather would have been a easy vote due to being the most hated. Gwen and Leshawna would have obviously voted her. Geoff probably wouldn’t vote Gwen, but vote with Gwen. Geoff is also loved by everyone. Leshawna-Chris didn’t let anyone revote and everyone accidentally mentioned her name by mistake. Even a parrot! This was too unfair. Heather-She did the dare and even though she was the main antagonist, she didn’t actually say she was gonna do it. Action: Owen-Courtney demanded Chris not to be voted when she debuted, and everyone voted her. But she voted Owen when he did nothing wrong. Lindsay-If Owen did not waste his vote, it would have been Duncan going home. (edited bc it would have not been a tie, it would be a 4-2 vote) Also Lindsay voting herself was a big mistake. Most unfair elimination in action. Harold-He didn’t get any allies and targeted Owen. I get why Duncan and Courtney would vote him but definitely not Beth. World Tour: Lindsay-She was robbed in every season she was in, there’s no explanation. DJ-Izzy was already eliminated and there was already a Double Elimination in episode 2. DJ could have been put on one of the remaining teams. Noah-The goal of the challenge was to capture Zeeke. Team Amazon captured Duncan and still won. Tyler-Duncan cheated on Courtney and was way more hated than Tyler. Courtney was right about this. Sierra-She blew up the plain by mistake. I don’t think there’s a reason on why she would be eliminated Revenge of the Island: B-B was the smartest one on the team and could have been useful in other challenges. Dawn-There’s no explanation. She was robbed. Brick-Brick was a stronger member and I don’t think I see why Jo hated him. He is a hero. Anne Maria-She thought she found a Diamond and wanted to quit, but changed her mind. Chris didn’t let her leave the Hurl of Shame. Zoey-I get why, but Lightning choosing Brains over Brawn was a big mistake. All-Stars: Lindsay-Courtney is the one to blame, this was Courtney’s time to go. Lindsay was robbed once again. Heather-Heather keeping the statue would have resulted her into getting in merge. Also Alejandro was a much bigger threat. Courtney-All she did was make a list. But also should have kept secret. If she did, she would have eliminated Zoey. Gwen-Mal was the reason she went home. She brought back a painting while Scott and Mal came back empty handed. Pahketiew Island: Beardo-I know he’s annoying, but Leonard costed the challenge and should have gone home. Ella-Sugar exposed her and Chris hated singing. I think he just hated Ella due to there being a whole season of singing. Max-Just because Chris was done with villans, doesn’t mean Max would go home. The Reboot: Scary Girl-I know she costed the challenge, but Ripper was more hated. Ripper threw the skull to Scary Girl and should’ve thrown it to Damien. Damien-Ripper was over hated. Damien also changed his mind about quitting. He saved people’s lives too! MK-Julia is the reason she went home. MK was the one who called Julia a buttknuckle and shouldn’t have said it. Julia costed the challenge too. Zee-He was robbed, he had no idea saying the alliance to vote Chris off would result in his elimination. Millie-Priya teamed up with an antagonist instead of a hero. Bad decision Priya!

justin's elimination was a 5-4-1 because cody voted trent. leshawna and duncan didn't win immunity in episode 21, no one of the campers did and since heather and duncan voted geoff because she was a popularity threat, leshawna voted heather, owen voted gwen, gwen voted duncan and geoff voted owen, it was a 2-1-1-1-1 then in action owen costed the grips the challenge by being dizzy and making the machine break so courtney voted him fairly, sierra literally made the all the seasons theme. how would u feel if u were the host and someone woule make all ur airppane explode? bffr. lindsay lost the tiebreaker so she wasnt robbed, just because you like her character doesnt mean that she was robbed. B was framed and Scott made everyone think he made the team lose, dawn wasnt robbed. brick was untrustworthy and made the team lose to help his former team and also Jo and Lightning had an alliance while having only THREE remaiming people in their team. Zoeys elimination in roti was extremely fair and smart for Lightining. Lindsay in AS wasn't robbed, shes put lack of effort in the challenge and Courtney DIDN'T make the team lose, Leonard built a whole tower for the team but some animals made it collapse while Beardo didn't do anything except making weird sounds, Max's elimination was totally okay. Scary girl made the team lose and her elimination was fair. the other reboot elimination were fair and you saying "it was X fault why they went home!" okay? if someone else made them get eliminated it doesn't mean that THAT was unfair. Julia was smart for exposing MK. Zee's elimination was fair too "he didn't know that voting Chris woule make him go home!" be for real, he was one of the most dumbest person for thinking that and you shouldn't excuse a literally teenager (not a 5 YO) for thinking that. Priya teaming up on Millie was her best decision and Bowie wasn't an antagonist he was an anti-hero

There are 4 types of eliminations -Normal eliminations such as kicking out a weird player, a strong player in merge, the one who lost the challenge for their team, etc. -Rigged/Unfair eliminations such as Leshawna and Coutney’s TDI eliminations. -We don’t need you anymore eliminations are eliminations that happen because the writers don’t know what to do with a certain character such as scary girl in TDI2023 s2 -Arc eliminations. There are two types: When a character is done with their arc, they get eliminated such as Raj and Wayne not really being important after they wrapped up the Bowie and Raj thing. The other one is getting eliminated because someone else has an arc like how they eliminated Sierra.

DJ was friends with almost everyone in the team and nobody ever wanted him out(the way he got eliminated was really unfair, but the writers did it because there wasn’t a realistic way to kick off the best social player of the season). The only people left on the team who weren’t in the big alliance of 5 people were Sadie and Harold, and since Sadie messed up the challenge she was voted off

Justin - we don't really know if all of the remaining Gophers actually voted for Heather or for someone else. Leshawna and co. might have failed to convince Justin to vote for Heather, or someone like Cody could've voted for, say, Trent. Beth - to be honest, all the Gophers were to blame for this loss. They messed up the dessert and almost killed Chris and the ribs were bad. Even then, I think they still have a reason to believe they were cursed by Beth's idol, since they lost 3 challenges in a row. Sadie - DJ lost 2 parts of the challenge, but his first loss was out of his control and the second loss is understandable because the Killer Bass know how much Bunny means to him, so it makes sense they don't actively blame him for losing. While Sadie only messed up one part, she kept hitting Courtney with apples for no reason, and Courtney is VERY vengeful. I think Sadie's a rather logical choice. Courtney - Chris NEVER stated that "campers are not allowed to tamper with the votes", so it's technically allowed. I'd say it's a nice move by Harold. Bridgette - this one is actually bullshit. The math doesn't add up. We've got 3 votes for Owen, 3 votes for Duncan and... apparently 3 votes for Bridgette, since it's confirmed that Geoff didn't actually vote for her. Either Geoff voted for Bridgette or the girls messed up their votes. Lindsay - this one is also bullshit, but once again it's all in the technicalities. Chris pulled this one up his ass, but I guess it's allowed because he's the host. DJ - the challenge was to survive but Chris never said "the first one to get caught gets eliminated". I'm pretty sure he even said they were planning to vote who'd get eliminated, but since DJ was scared by Heather and not the killer, he decided to get him off. It's logical in my opinion. Leshawna - it's very clear they didn't know how to get rid of her. Seeing her leave like that was sad. Heather - for the third time, it's all in the technicalities, but this time it makes more sense. Chef never grabbed the shaver, put it on Heather's hair and chopped it off, Heather kicked the shaver and it just happened to fall on her head, but Chef had nothing to do with the act of "shaving Heather's head". Most of these aren't illogical and are within the rules of the show, at least in my opinion, but I can understand if you consider them BS. They really should've justified some things better LMAO.

That’s a good point, but it is also little odd that Heather didn’t capitalize on the girls’ split vote to convince the rest of the Killer Bass guys to oust Owen for exposing their alliance to the girls. While people grill Heather about this, Owen had quite a bit of plot armor as well since people do periodically point out that the placements of Ezekiel (1st boot) and Owen (winning/getting to the end) were the most set/fixed

Plot wise, the only reason I can think of they went with that was production was already having Action being worked on as well. If it was just in the context of the season itself, Courtney getting eliminated like that didn’t make since they did show that they went by the confessionals with votes. Thus, Harold attempted and pointless rigging didn’t make at lot of sense as well. For that elimination, it would have made more sense to either eliminate DJ for recent poor performances (got DQ’d in the prior plus first out on his team in the current) or legitimately eliminate Courtney, with Geoff lying to Duncan when Duncan was discussing how the vote didn’t make since. Geoff and Bridgette didn’t want DJ and even Harold (for how he has helped Bridgette in the recent challenges) to go and thought it was between Courtney and DJ with Harold possibly “pulling a Heather (with said Heather’s help)” to plant that seed in their minds. Even if they considered Harold, Courtney telling Chef off could been strangely viewed as the final straw, in combination of her slight history of bombing challenges and Harold’s past clutching comps) with help for the majority of the team.

This would be my personal version of the unfair eliminations caused by votes: Justin is replaced by Heather. Beth, Heather, Izzy & Lindsay vote Justin. Cody votes Trent. Gwen, Justin, Leshawna, Owen & Trent vote Heather. Beth is replaced by Heather. Beth, Gwen, Leshawna & Trent would vote Heather. Heather, Lindsay & Owen would vote Beth. Sadie's doesn't change. Courtney's doesn't change (because Harold rigged the votes). Bridgette is replaced by Duncan. Bridgette, Geoff, Gwen, Izzy & Leshawna vote Duncan. DJ, Duncan & Owen vote Bridgette. Heather & Lindsay vote Owen. Lindsay is replaced by Izzy. If it was a sudden death, then Izzy would've been eliminated, as she was in front of Leshawna while biking, so she was the first one to get disqualified out of 7. DJ is replaced by Izzy. If it was a sudden death, then Izzy would've been the first one out. Leshawna is replaced by Heather. If Chris had actually did the votes correctly (and not let a parrot vote 3 times) basically all of them would say Heather except Katie & Sadie. How was Heather's elimination unfair? She lost the challenge on her own terms, and it was well-justified too.

While the argument for Damien is there, it is also a case “be careful of what you wish for”. Also, I’ll throw in Scary Girl’s elimination as well. While giving that skull a makeover was “on character” for her, throwing the challenge to do so, unless she was playing keep away with the other’s team skull (that Ripper originally grabbed), was out of character. If that was the case, Scary Girl would have been eliminated sooner for either being too destructive or nearly killing someone (like letting Damien submerge/drown for a bit which would have allowed Nichelle to release Julia first) in a prior challenge
