First comes reading someone's diary, second comes attaching a second rope as someone climbs up a rock wall as she pulled the so-called "backup line" revealing someone's clothing, which should've been censored out, and third was placing a fake love letter where she kisses the man of her dreams, as one member of the group gets her heart broken. Talk about a taste of pure payback being the B word since the very start, am I right?

This is it. I gotta say Heather's elimination was absolutely amusing she deserves it for reading Gwen's Diary out loud to the whole world, from episode 10 the cooking challenge, kissing Trent especially betraying Lindsay in the bike challenge she told Heather off this is what she gets finally. But in the finale Owen and Gwen have the best endings.

Considering a Protagonist tends to be the character who we see the story through, has an emotional journey, and has an Antagonist that tends to target them specifically, I'd say Gwen is THE Protagonist of Total Drama Island. We've been on Gwen's side pretty much the entire time as viewers. Her emotions are our emotions. Her reactions are similar to ours. You can watch her ending on KZbin where Gwen wins. Theres even an alternate opening to the next episode for Gwen's win too. I love that this series left it up to the network that was airing it to decide which ending they would air. Owen did not win in Every Country. Just in Most of them. This will continue to be the case for each and every season until the 2023 Reboot.

Fun fact: the final two in each season is consistent where the show has been aired regionally, but depending on where it was aired the winner is different. For example the US version of season 2’s winner, is the opposing winner for the version aired in Canada.

Owen winning will always be because of writers bias. Guy spent the second half of the Season being a handicap for his team, yet was never in danger of getting voted off, then gets carried to victory because he promised a party. Gwen's ending is far superior and actually makes sense, since Owen chasing food already cost him a race just a few episodes ago.

I mean no he hasn't. Man fu*ked up sometimes but he always came through for the team and was willing to do just about anything, even doing some of the most insane dares. He's a really great guy with a great heart and deff deserves the win.

Also people didn't start pitching to help him until AFTER Trent simped his way up to her to make up for Heather kissing him. (which he didn't have to do) And you think Gwen deserves it?
