I honestly like the concept of Samey vs Shawn Samey was a great player and pulled the most genius maneuver the entire series by pretending to be another competitor and getting them out in her place when she was voted out because of Amy. They could have done SO MUCH MORE with that plot line. It could have been one of the most unique storylines in the entire series with Samey trying to keep up the facade around everyone but Jasmine. Someone could have found out later into the season and tried to use it against Samey in the merge/pre-merge, but Jasmine could have defended her and protected her from elimination, maybe even helping Samey get immunity. Then once they make it to the final 4 after Scarlett and Max leave, Samey, Jasmine, and Shawn can all team against sugar, until she pulls the same trick she does in the original and slows Jasmine down with the tree getting her auto-eliminated. And in the final three, Samey and Shawn (Who would likely have been told about Samey’s facade earlier in the merge) would both play against Sugar to avenge Jasmine, although it wouldn’t matter since Sugar would still do her horrific singing at her own 'talent' show competition, giving her 3rd place and making the final 2 competitors Shawn and Samey, in which the obviously rigged ‘random' wheel would choose Jasmine to help/hinder Shawn, and Amy who would groan and whine about how Samey should be disqualified for switching with her and in turn Amy should replace her in the finale and have Samey haul her to victory. Chris would decline because Samey’s swapping move made for great drama and in turn, impeccable ratings. And then it is announced that the helpers are actually against their selected finalist, which Amy jumps in joy over, knowing that she can now personally ruin her sister’s entire well played game and all of her fame in the final stretch. Similar to the original, Jasmine wouldn’t want to hinder Shawn until Jasmine finds out about Shawn’s confessionals about going back on their deal to split the money, and even though Amy needs no motivation whatsoever to hinder Samey’s progress, Chris still insists on showing Amy a montage of Samey’s best moments in the season, including an instant replay of Amy being shot from the cannon of shame and many of Samey’s confessionals talking about how happy she was that Amy was gone thanks to her genius move, as well as a bunch of moments throughout the season of Samey being successful. This alone causes Amy to need to be held back by Chris and Chef from brutally attacking Samey. After the whole anyone can win twist is announced things go mostly the same with Jasmine and Shawn’s moments playing out the exact same way, and Amy pulling most of the same tricks that Dave pulled on Sky in the original, although with her further instilled rage, she is practically trying to END HER SISTER STRAIGHT UP. Regardless, Shawn and Amy still end up on the snowy mountain, and although neither of them would throw a temper tantrum like Sky did to cause the avalanche down to the finish line, I feel like most any super sudden movements would have caused the avalanche to happen and both of them to fall. My personal preference for the canon ending would be Samey’s win over Shawn’s, but regardless, in Shawn’s win Jasmine runs over to Shawn to check on him, in which Shawn agrees to still split the money, and the two of them kiss. When they are done, Samey emerges from the snow behind them. She was about to ask if she won, until she saw that the finish line was in front of her and was paralyzed in shock. Samey does nothing but curl up in a ball without getting out of the snow, and placing her hands on her face as she begins to softly whimper realizing that her life is practically over since Amy will never let her live this loss down for the rest of her life. Jasmine hears Samey behind her and Shawn and walks over to her out of the snow. Jasmine walks over to Samey and offers her hand to help Samey out of the snow. Samey thanks Jasmine as she shivers getting up from the snow. Jasmine asks why Samey was so sad after making it all the way to the finale, saying that it’s an impressive feat alone to make it to finale period, and that her and Shawn would happily share some of the million with her. Samey cuts Jasmine off mid sentence and explains that she is not sad about not getting the prize, she’s sad because despite her getting 2nd place, to Amy anything other than 1st place is a pathetic failure and that while Samey doesn’t see it that way, Amy does and she will never let Samey live this failure down for the rest of her life. Jasmine stops Samey, hugs her and sends her sympathies knowing that there is not a lot that Jasmine can do to help Samey outside of the game, meanwhile Amy is running down to the finish line in excitement knowing that Samey failed, and is preparing to taunt Samey over failing in the most pathetic and stupid way possible in the final challenge and losing it because she was living an idiotic fantasy that’s all over now. She thinks about how she will hold this pathetic failure over Samey for the rest of her life, everywhere she goes, everyone she meets, every chance she gets she will remind Samey of how she is so useless that even after cheating to avoid losing she still lost on the final stretch, and that Amy will forever use this failure as an example of what happens when Samey stands up to her sister, she still fails. While running over with these maniacal thoughts, Jasmine and Samey are still talking to each other about Amy, until Samey sees her running towards them from behind Jasmine, tenses up, winces, and hunches over, bracing herself for the inevitable lecture on why she should never stand up to Amy again. Jasmine realizes what is happening as she turns around and sees Amy running towards her and Samey. Without hesitation Jasmine turns back around puts her hands on her hips and sticks her leg out where Amy is running. Jasmine trips up Amy with her leg sending her flying headfirst into the snow screaming. Jasmine taps Samey’s shoulder, and Samey opens her eyes slightly, thinking that it was Amy, and beginning to just accept her fate, she starts saying she knows that Amy is always right and that Samey is always wrong until she realizes Jasmine is in front of her and stops talking in confusion. Jasmine points to Amy, Samey looks over and they both start laughing at Amy in the snow. The scene cuts to an originally cut take of the outro that was still on the island, in which Chris is interrupted by a phone call from Amy and Samey’s parents, asking to speak to Amy, Chris annoyed by the interruption reluctantly obliges and hands the phone to Amy, in which Amy immediately starts explaining the expected outcome of Samey’s failure to win and begins asking them how they are planning to punish her for cheating, until she is interrupted by their parents explaining how that outstanding move made by Samey has made her super famous online, and they immediately ask her to start treating Samey as an equal for now seeing how famous she has become, Amy is shocked and paralyzed by this message and Samey who at this point is listening in on the call, starts jumping with joy celebrating giving both Shawn and Jasmine a victory high five in the background, the call ends and Chris comments on the unexpected turn. The actual outro happens in the plane like the original. ROLL CREDITS. In Samey’s win, she emerges from the snow before Shawn having crossed the finish line. Amy watches expecting Samey to fail, until she realizes she won falls to her knees and screams NOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Meanwhile, Samey celebrates before getting up to find Shawn. Shawn emerges from the snow barely missing the finish line. Samey sees him, walks over to help him up as Jasmine rushes in from another direction and picks up Samey in a massive celebratory hug exclaiming YOU DID IT!!!! before she puts her down and they both go back to help Shawn up. Shawn congratulates Samey for showing her sister who’s boss. The same originally cut outro happens but in this version their parents ask to talk to Samey, in which Amy falls on the floor hysterically laughing, thinking that they are about to scold Samey for cheating and force Samey to give her the million, but that I is not what they do. They instead, start buttering Samey up now that she’s a millionaire explaining that they accept any request for sharing some of her money with them. For Samey’s first of many requests, she asks that they treat her and Amy as equals and stop putting Amy’s needs before her own, and that they make Amy write a handwritten 50 page paper apologizing for the many ways she has wronged Samey throughout their lifetime. They agree, and Samey hands the phone to Amy and their parents explain the request and the consequences that will follow if she doesn’t abide by her famous millionaire sister. Amy once falls to her knees screaming NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! as the camera zooms out. The official outro in the plane happens. ROLL CREDITS.
