5:37 I had this happen to me getting out of my work van. Brand new jeans and a back pocket got caught on the big knob the door shuts on. I was hanging there for what seemed like forever, trying to get my feet back on the running board when eventually the pants ripped and down I came. Thank goodness it wasn't the belt loop so the pants waist still would stay on me, but the whole left side of my pants where the pocket is was torn open. I had to wrap my jacket around my waist to finish the day.

Run a fuel stabilizer with your gas mixture and about 90% of your issues will never happen. Keeps the carb clean and if you're in a place you can't get rec90 or ethanol free gas, it'll neutralize the ethanol. If you don't use it daily, remove the fuel after every use.

1:54 I TOTALLY feel that guy with the weed wacker. Many years ago, I remember my dad doing the same thing to an old POS weed wacker. Took an axe to a lawnmower once too! It was actually kind of funny. Cursing incessantly the entire entire time. Those things just need to be replaced every few years. I have a plug in electric mower and every 2 years the damn motor burns out regardless of which brand I buy. They are all in the $200-$300 range. They say you get what you pay for. They are right.

With yard equipment like trimmers, blowers, etc, if you use the right fuel (rec90 preferably) ethanol free and over 90 octane with decent 2 cycle oil with fuel stabilizer like stabil. And if it's not for daily use, remove the fuel after each use, you'll almost never have a problem. No reason even a cheap trimmer won't last 10-15 years. Thankfully they're very simple machines.

And on my day off from my full time job.

If a bit will drill into concrete there's not much it won't drill into. But they will work better if they're sharp on other materials. Sharpening concrete bits does take specialized items too. I have a diamond matrix wheel that'll do it.

The masonry bits that are rated for rebar are a bit better. Once I figured out in life to use the right tool for the right job my dumb ass had a much easier time.

If you run a masonry bit in masonry it will be very dull though. Sharpening a masonry bit isn't something most can do either. You need rather specialized gear to do that.

I once saw railings for steps that weren't lined up right. The funny bit is, the wall siding was plastic pieces that leave lineds along the wall. So the guy literally had lines he could look at to make sure the rails were level, and still messed up.

Sometimes a drill will grab and self feed on you. Especially on break out from the material. I call it the butterfly effect. Because sometimes the tip will break out in a butterfly shaped hole and then the flutes will lock into that shape and just run the bit forward on you. It can happen very quickly too.
