Total Recall 2012: Future Earth

Compilation of city scenes from the movie 'Total Recall' 2012.
At the end of 21st Century, the Earth is divided into two territories the United Federation of Britain (UFB) and the Colony (formerly Australia) after chemical warfare devastates the remainder of the planet. Many residents of the Colony travel to the UFB to work in their factories via "the Fall", a gravity elevator, which travels through the Earth. Habitable space is at a minimum in both the UFB and the Colony.

me in 2012: this film is so unrealistic, Britain will still be in the EU and the world can't possibly collapse like this me in 2020: this film is eerily approaching reality.

The Colony in this movie seems to borrow themes from the 2019 Los Angeles depicted in Bladerunner.

Anybody ever in London, take a trip to canary wharf, specifically the new crossrail building, the architecture, right under the flightpath to heathrow and the thousands of city workers in the area is probably the closest thing to this film.
