The total solar eclipse of August 21, 2017, with a view of the surroundings towards the west, the direction from which the moon shadow came. Recorded in Mill City, Oregon, USA, with the webcam of my notebook. Note the rapid darkening. There was a bad luck for the solar eclipse observers in the background, as the advertising panels, probably due to dawn switches, automatically turn on just before the totality.
