ROME II - natural lighting and particle dust. Attila - better fire and blood effect. I used both for machinima purposes but overall, ROME İİ is better.

Even on my i9-9900k Attila runs like garbage... the Battlemap looks quite O.K. with around 50-60FPS on my RX590 8GB, BUT campaign map is big sh!t... the lightning is f!ck!ng bad...

Waldemar Eckstein you can feel for me right now... playing on a gt 710... managing to crack 20-30 frames in battle with low settings😂 honestly Im happy with it though. I don’t care for ultra settings, I just wanna enjoy the fights with some frames so. Rome 2 on a gt 710 works nice though. Quick question it warhammer 2 good optimisation compared to attila? Like will it run better. If so I’ll get it. Considering I have 16gb ram the only things holding me back are I5 2400 and gt 710... on low settings I could get some frames right?

I like attila more beacuse the game is deeper, more immersive, more visually realistic and appealing. I mean look at the differences on the water xD. But rome 2 is set in a more appealing time period.

Definitely Attila for me, may not be as colorful sure but it’s much more realistic and cinematic while Rome 2 feels more cartoonish if that’s makes sense...

Rome 2 is a older game to debate and yes i think its better but to be fair its older and Attila is better with the realism and action

Attila has a great setting and great graphics (potentially) but some of the worst optimization of any total war ever. In terms of frame rates.

rome 2 for lighting, the map just looking nice and organized (i swear i dont have ADHD) and the time period, i like TWR2 better but Atila is better than TWR2

gah I have same spec, still can't believe the garbage fps. Guess no matter the gpu/cpu , the engine need some upgrade... I like Rome 2 in term of how beautiful it is. Clean and colorful. The many culture. Attila. The fire effect. The siege atmosphere during battle. Not as diverse as Rome 2.

It might be, but as soon as you create 3-4 big legions you can destroy (almost) all barbarian levy armies. Huns, on the other hand... Just don't get involved with them

Attila vs rome... For me both game best but i pretty sure attila campaign is more harder than rome especially when you using huns, western rome and sassanid also aksum.. Rome 2 easy than attila and rome have more unit than attila
