feels cheesy but with a small fleet of 4 ships baiting ai armies out of their coastal city and wiping out all 20 transport ships is pretty noice.

Ships are basically the only way I can beat Rome in the early game... by doing that

during my last campeign as rome, my 15 ship navy killed like 10 cartaginian armies trying to defend and than reclaim sicily. i love the sloughter that is navy against army on transport ships. i like to think "when an army meets a navy, the army tend to ends up drowning

The reason your voice might be getting cut, maybe because of the mic you use, but most probably the software you are using to record, might have a sensitivity check to not record certain low volumes, in a way to reduce background noise. Sometimes it might be the mic or headset itself with a dedicated button that does that. Keep up the good work!

Very nice vídeo! It would be nice to see the feigned retreat tactic in game. Against AI and Player. It is quite micro heavy. Mainly when controlling full cavalry armies. Besides, I really enjoy naval battles, most of the times.

I feel like we are the only ones enjoying naval battles man... But I could make a "narrative esk" video with the Feigned retreat tactic ingame at some point.

@@Toxborg Yeah. I think that the fact that they (naval battles) are very buggy and glichy doesnt help with their popularity as well. Maybe an "reenactment" of Antony's retreat through Armenia...or Crassus defeat at Carhae would be interesting. Just an Idea though!

You are probably right about gliches being the main part of People not liking Naval battles. They mostly occure when people try to use navies just like armies. It simply doesn't work like that... I like your ideas. The defeat at Carhae is the most appealing one to me, although they are basically the same in terms of Battles. I'll get working on it if I get ahead on my schedule ;D

Playing as Ardiaei rn, having multiple navies with only 5-4 Liburna and defeating 20+ transport ships making tons of money through piracy. It is better to have no more than seven ramming ships for each navy, because you can maneuver easily and won't get stuck between your own ships. The only difficult battles you will have are with the Pirates that pop up (which have insane HP) or Carthaginian & Roman late ships (which of course if you role play as Ardiaei pirates they won't even survive that long in the campaign) The best cost effective and safest tactic in my opinion is to bait the enemy with 3 ships, and ram them with other 4-3 ships as they will be vulnerable since they are pursuing your bait ships.
