instead of disbanding a unit you can reset them and get them back in i think 3-5 turns something like that

Wouldn't resetting he's skill points work and that way you can keep him ?
@ikyogdid3652Ай бұрын
Yes you should have reseted his skill points
@MonstersAboundАй бұрын
Y'know I completely forgot that you can do that. I don't think I've ever reset skill points but yes that likely would have worked!

@@MonstersAbound I always respec since then they're only gone for 3 turns vs 5 if you replace them normally

The good thing about Norsca is those 150's stack up and the building costs to get there are cheap and there is a lot of resources to trade, get building MA :D

I know it was the previous episode, but your talk about how the Norscans currently function had me thinking (I know, always dangerous!) To me, they are an attempt to paraphrase the modern interpretation of "Viking" but have ended up a Shien quality copy 😂 There really needs to be travel gates, a movement increase while at sea and to better replicate a "raid" to have none of that landing/take off nonsense that erases even more movement capability. I think that's why wandering factions have so much trouble because of all these movement limitations along with the "paint the map in X colour" which I feel is intrinsic to the base game. Like you said; Currently, the player NEEDS to increase settlement amounts and then fund all the infrastructure to progress. If diplomacy was better implemented, then the player could have a more realistic "Viking" playstyle with a stable homeland boardered by allies with outposts to either increase trade or use them as springboards for raiding other lands. Lastly, the current AI behaviour has completely ruined Pharoah for me, and I see it creeping into this game too, enough for me to stop playing because it's just not fun 😢 Mods help, but they break etc and a lot I feel should just be in the actual game at least as an option. (looking at you 'remove climate BS' you beautiful mod you!)

With the recent AI changes, I've more or less come to consider the "less cheating AI" mod a mandatory part of my list. It's crazy when I walk up to an AI's last settlement and they have three full stacks just chilling there.
@MonstersAboundАй бұрын
It reminds me of Rome 2 where it was nearly impossible to invade Corsica because that one settlement faction had 3 stacks sitting there just waiting for you to make a move.
@gsauwce5488Ай бұрын
Would playing on a difficulty like hard fix the AI cheats though?
@AtiklyarАй бұрын
@@gsauwce5488 I play on Hard/Normal, personally, and I find it's even worse for me than MR and other KZbinrs. The AI is more likely to just stack multiple armies and play a slightly more passive war in the current state.
@gsauwce5488Ай бұрын
@@Atiklyar gotchya. I play on the same difficulty usually, but I’ve been taking a break from Warhammer 3. They should learn from Dynasties cuz that AI is pretty aggressive

What mods are you using in this campaign?

Nothing is quite as bad as when a tombking faction has a single pyramid, and 4 full stacks just sitting on it. 😐

Honestly seeing the Hero in action convinced me to finally give the "Battle Mage" mod a shot. It turns almost all wizards into ranged fighters. Combined with Wonderous Wizards and I don't think I can ever go back to vanilla casters
