Total War: Warhammer 3 Immortal Empires - The Legion of Azgorh, Drazhoath the Ashen #1

Forge of the Chaos Dwarfs arrives with Total War, Warhammer 3 Immortal Empires action as The Legion of Azgorh and Drazhoath the Ashen as we launch into an early access playthrough of the new DLC Forge of the Chaos Dwarfs. Drazhoath is an exile from the leadership of the Chaos Dwarfs, sent to the southern most outpost to keep him out of the way.
But we will rise up! and take on the establishment by first beating up some nearby Greenskins and then launching ourselves at the Skaven as well for good measure and plenty of "labour" in part 1 of my Drazhoath the Ashen Campaign for Total War: Warhammer 3 Immortal Empires Campaign with the Forge of the Chaos Dwarfs DLC.

CA has actually clarified why the name. Apparently the Dawi Zharr just see everything as a resource and thus captives as labour. That's in contrast to the Dark Elves who sadistically enjoy slavery.

Strength in Numbers gives Melee Defense when there's more than 50% of the models left. You don't have growth, because you can instantly upgrade your provinces.. With Interns :P. Feels like you're supposed to have sacking armies running around getting Interns to get your provinces built up.

Ash storm synergizes really nicely with Chaos Dwarf units, it ends up being really strong because it causes weakness to fire damage and most Chaos Dwarf units have fire damage.

The part where you killed the skaven is very lore accurate. They don't tend to use the skaven as "interns" because they purposefully carry diseases that are really nasty, so the dawi zharr either kill them or sacrifice them on the spot.

I've seen people bothered by the fact that the called their slaves laborers, without remembering the reason is because the DE already have the slaves mechanic and its laborers probably to evade confusion...

The only thing I can think of is that the slavery mechanic in the code is just marked as "slavery" so if they wanted to change anything in the war total war spaghetti code related to slavery they had to call it Labour to make it different

The devs explained that it's because of the culture differences. For Dark Elves a big part of their slavery is they like subjugating people but for the chorfs they just see workers as just another industrial resource.

If I'm not mistaken the eye icon on certain abilities when you hover over it it'll show you what the ability does. Also I love the addition that buffs show you what units are affected by it which I hope is compatible with modded units

@@alfonsklapa3353 You literally picked the worst possible example here though. Scarbrand is overcosted in multiplayer as is. The Destroyer also ignores his physical resist because it does fire damage. And because the Destroyer has fire resist (and Scarbrand does fire damage) it ignores a lot of damage as well. You picked the most objectively unbalanced and biased fight to make that claim.

@@alfonsklapa3353 People complain about them being OP all the time, and its getting annoying. Bull Centaurs need a small Nerf, Astrogoth and Magma Cannons might need a small tweak; that's it. Laborer units are literal trash, Hobgoblin units are mediocre and everything else is overcosted in multiplayer for what it does or has factionwide unit caps in single player. Lore of Hashut is very medium, and not as good as Fire. The Chaos Dawi are fine.

I guess you have figured out about the convoys, but to any visitors who don't: you gain really strong units for every destination a Convoy reaches originating from that faction you trade with, with possible more you can pick up along the road. Which means you can have insane armies with War sphinxes, dragons, Ogres and Hydras in one. So after some turns it turns into a unstoppable force that can give you 5-6k gold for each 500 weapons you trade with in a few turns.

My headcanon as to how the infernal guard manage to shoot their guns despite their dumb helmets is that since the fireglaives are daemonforged, there's probably a daemon boy somewhere in there who does all the aiming for the dwarf, and the dwarf just has to aim it in the general direction of the enemy.
