PAOLO IS THE GREATEST PERFORMER OF BOTH SCARLATTI AND THE HARPSICHARD TO EVER HAVE COME INTO MODERN TIMES HE PLAYS WITH EXTREME ARTICULATION AND ANIMATION AND MEDITERRANEAN STYLE NEVER EQUALED BY ANYONE.

OF ALL THE MANY HARPSICHORD PLAYERS I HAVE HEARD, PAOLO IS THE MOST EXCITING AND ABSOLUTE GENIUS OF THE KEY BOARD PLAYERS KNOWN TO ME. I SUPPOSE THAT DOMENICO SOUNDED SOMETHING LIKE THIS WITH ELECTRIC BRILLIANCE.

Extraordinaire que cet enregistrement n'ait suscité aucun commentaire... et aussi peu d'audience. Pourtant, il faut reconnaître la qualité de l'interprétation, autant sur le plan du style que de la précision. Merci à Paolo Zanzu de nous livrer son admirable version de ces fameuses (mais pas si fameuses, sans doute, sur KZbin...) sonates de l'illustre Domenico Scarlatti. En lui souhaitant, ailleurs, un meilleur public...
