I really do enjoi the old versaemerge with this dude singn. This song and ennui in particular. The vocal melodies are so sikc and free flowing. Reminds me a lot of old saosin, with anthony green. Wish there were more live videos

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! I just remembered them, found them way back on myspace and haven't listened for over a decade. I lost my PC that had many great songs from many great up and coming bands, along with my ipod taking a crap on me a long yike ago too. God damn music used to be so good. All of these bands either faded or turned to metalcore. I know everyone wouldn’t consider this the image of “post hardcore”, maybe more emo but I miss bands like this. Kris Parker AlexisOnFire, Underoath, ADTR, Emarosa and anything with Johnny Craig, Sky Eats Airplane!, Confide.....I’m more of a hardcore/melodic metal core guy. Hard break downs with inspirational selfless lyrics...check out “It prevails” not “I prevails” the album “The Inspiration” started it for me. Also the Song “Trust not in man” by in irons (they are christian and not a band anymore, but that’s fine with me) still amazing music.

This was this band at their best. Listening still in May 2018....hearing the song again though I really think the ending lines "It's an empty page with growing age / It's bound to flourish again" would be done best if AJ screamed it as a breakdown at the end of the song, maybe with the first iteration as Spencer, and the second repeated with just AJ, or one iteration as both. Anyway, we'll never hear another band like this again.

Sierra is good, not nearly as good as spencer tho.. He was also part of Decoder for a while, but got booted for drugs and whatever. They have a good album if you enjoy his voice.

versaEmerge 1st 3 albums are great.. however there are many other bands that could destroy them in a rock off!! Secret lives of the freemasons, Issues, The Word Alive 1st album, The Fall of troy... oh remember 'Northstar'

We could easily destroy all of those bands in a write off. Biggest competition would creatively be Fall of Troy. Don't even.
