I repeat my earlier suggestion: I think you should add a mage faction, here are some ideas for it: Pyromancer: can shoot fireballs from the sky that explode and light the ground ablaze. Though they would have longer cooldowns depending on what size you make the fireball. Aeromancer: Shoots lightning bolts in straight-ish lines that go through enemies. Cryomncer: Can freeze units in place for 5 seconds, frozen units can still be damaged. Enchantress: Causes nearby units to levitate upwards for 10 seconds before letting them drop. Would be useful to combine with ranged units as enemies would not be able to move forward while levitating. Witch: Can turn the nearest unit into a chicken every 3 seconds Druid: Turns into a massive bear and charges through enemy lines similar to a chariote but smaller and with more health. Dragon: Do I really need to explain this one? Apprentices: Can shoot small bolts of magic every two seconds Stone golem: Melee unit with the same health as the viking shield guys but can knockback enemy units a short distance. Iron golem: Same as the above but with more health, damage and knockback as well as slightly bigger. ^^ Once you are done the renaissance faction of course which looks amazing!!!

I don't know if this is still a thing, but they always target the one directly closest to them, causing them to fire into the center and not being effective. I think that they should target someone kind of random, unless within a certain distance. This is mainly for ranged but may help infantry from clustering together on one person.

Landfall I think you should add a Mystical/fantasy Faction So with like Dwarves: (mini dudes with small axes) maybe some with small bow and arrows like poachers Giants: (big guys wielding giant clubs) Minotaurs: (bull like creatures) Centaurs: (half horse half human) Griffins: (big golden bird) Or a military faction with Handgunner: (same stats and gameplay as the neon pistol) M16: (make the M16 less powerful, lower health, lower damage) and make it not hurt people's eyes when they shoot, slower fire rate Sniper: (like a musket but fires faster, is more accurate, and has more health) ATV: (a quad but with a driver and a machine gunner on the back) Rocket: (guy with a rocket launcher) Please like so landfall see this comment!

Oh, and this is random but I had a dream about your game the other day, and in my dream you had a unit that was a sludge/lava monster that splashed it's enemies like a wave. Awesome! The Shieldmen should have a formation bonus for sure, as well. Have you thought about giving units disadvantages for being in formations? Maybe if you put too many, say, Energy Sword Masters together, they do less damage or something because their blades will hit each other. To discourage certain strategies, and encourage other ones.

Hey Landfall, are you going to add centurions to the game? Also, this is just a suggestion, but would you mind making the hoplite' shield and spear bigger. The hoplon, which is the name for the shield that they use and also on what they are named after, is supposed to be three feet in diameter and the spear, the dory as it's known as in history, is supposed to be 6-9 ft long. Also could you add hoplite armor to them.

I must say I'm a bit uncertain about having artificial bonuses for units being in formation. A shield wall formation providing overlaying cover for nearby units is great to have. The same shield wall formation artificially inflating the hp of every unit no longer feels as good.

Amazing! this option change everything in the game. Can I make ideas? I liked the idea of the bonus, but what happen if you combine different units with others on the formations? I was thinking in depending what kind of units put together in formation their attitude and status change. Example I was thinking: Javelins & Shields: The shields old their position after the javelins attack, javelins don´t move, both win more hp but don´t move after the first attack. Knights & Thiefs: The knights win the speed of attack and move of the thiefs. Cannons & Muskets: Both win more range but the HP is reduced. Full Archers: All attack in the same time, the rate of fire is reduced a little but is a perfect rain of arrows. Javelins & Arrows: The javelins win the range of the archers. Trump & M16: Both hold the position, don´t move and Trump build more faster the walls. Shields & Muskets: Shields hold the position and don´t move after the enemy is close. WIll protect the muskets against range units. Knights & Shields: Charge faster. Full shields: make Testudo formation. Muskets & Beamers: the Muskets win the range of the beamers. Gravity & Bowers: The boxers wait after the gravity use their attack, after use it the boxers increase their attack and speed. Vikings & Knights: Starting the battle will make a warcry, their attack and HP is increased but will not move after the warcry ends. That mean they are vulnerable to range units. Butterheads & thiefs: butterheads win speed to attack and thiefs can resist more impacts. Samurais & Master: They charge after a warcry, is like the viking and knights but increase the speed attack and speed movement. Trump & Peasant: Trump will make a small Inspirational speech, so all will pay attention, it will take around 5 seconds, after it all the units will move with higher status. Chicken Man Man & Farmers: The farmers will protect the Chicken Man Man, will be around the titan after the first chicken appear on the battlefield. Now what happen if you put units can affect your status negative? imagine if in the other team appear a viking axeman? maybe the status of all the units will decrease 1 (and will be more if exist more units on the battlefield), or how will react when see a darkpeasant? That´s all my ideas for now, I hope this can inspire you something in the future. :3
