In this video, the band members are... Brian Johnson - Lead Vocals Angus Young - Lead Guitar Malcolm Young - Rhythm Guitar Cliff Williams - Bass Guitar Phil Rudd - Drums These 5 were pretty much the core members of AC DC for a long time. Malcolm and Angus were brothers and co founders of the band formed around 1973. Malcolm passed away in 2017.

When Bon died it was so sudden and shocking that ACDC almost called it quits right then. But Bon Scotts mother encouraged them to continue in his memory.

the singer is the second singer, 1980-? the other guitarist is Angus' brother Malcolm, the bass player is the second bass player 1976-?, the drummer is the original drummer 1974-1983 and 1995-? there were 2 other drummers in his 12 year absence. their first album was in 1974. they have always considered all replacements to be full band members as equals. the only 2 original members though are the 2 young brothers.... at this time. Malcom young has since passed away and Angus' nephew Steven Young has taken over for him. Don't know if they still tour, but did do an album bout 2 years ago.

Malcolm Young is probably the most important member of the band. He did all the arrangements, meaning if Angus came up with a cool guitar riff and the drummer came up with a cool beat and the singer came up with cool lyrics, then Malcolm was the guy who mixed them together and made a song out of them. It's actually more complicated than that, but this is the simplest way to explain what each member of a band contributes to a song and why Malcolm so important =)
@Djerov24 жыл бұрын
Not rlly. Malcolm came up with most lyrics, and most guitar riffs. Angus came up with the solos

I don’t know how many were at this concert but they did play before over a million people in Moscow in 1991. Apparently the crowd was counted to 800,000 at which point the gates were just opened because so many were trying to get in. Estimates range from 1 million to 1.6 million. In this case it is a stadium so I would guess 50,000 to 100,000 in the seats, and one heck of a lot more standing.

Ac/dc have been around since the early 1970's. Their first singer before Brian Johnson was Bon Scott who died in 1980 from alcohol poisoning. Their first album with Brian Johnson was Back in Black in 1980. Phil is the drummer though they have juggled a few around, even though Phil was the main guy. Angus and Malcolm being brothers were some of the original members along side Phil and Cliff the bassist. Malcolm retired in 2014 due to having dementia. He later passed in 2017. They have been selling out and rocking people socks since the 70s! Not bad for a bunch of old Scottish and Australians is it?

In 2009,when they played River Plate, AC/DC was no longer made up of young men, so keep that in mind when you see Angus and Brian all over the place on that stage. At the time of the concert, the band members' ages were:Angus Young 54, Malcolm Young 56, Brian Johnson 62, Cliff Williams 60, and Phil Rudd 55. And Brian had been singing like THAT for AC/DC for 29 years. How he even had vocal chords left for a speaking voice, let alone a singing voice is a miracle unto itself.
