Hunting for wild asparagus is one of the most rewarding Spring activities you can do. Not only does it get you outside, but you get exercise and free food! Wild asparagus foraging in the Rocky Mountain West begins in mid-April and continues through early May.
In this video, we'll explain growing conditions and the seasons for hunting wild asparagus, as well as how to find the plants, how to distinguish them from the surrounding weeds, asparagus plan identification, and locations where you can find the plant.
