i don't play the guitar, but I love watching your guitar unboxing videos. I am blown away by the creativity and talent of the guitar makers...and no one showcases their guitars better than you, Justin.

Thank you Justin. Not only could i listen to you play all day long, any day, but you bring us the most beautiful works of art that are also guitars. They are the kind of guitars that i daydream about building. Please keep finding them, keep bringing them, and keep playing the daylights out of them for us!

Hey Justin, I'm really glad that KZbin threw you into my feed. You have a new subscriber. That Jasper guitar is amazing. I'm an old guy that has been playing for quite some time. I'm the proud owner of an acoustic Takamine that has been with me for 46 years, time flys when you're having fun, right. Thanks for the upload. I'm going to cruise your channel and see what other goodies you have.

Rather than a fixed bolt, Jasper could add a levered cam clamp that you can rest against your body and activate by applying pressure with your forearm against the guitar. Then you'd be able to mess around with changing resonance/sustain on the fly.

Sounds awesome. I am not too excited by its shape. The headstock reminds me of the old Vox guitar. The body isn't half bad, or good for that matter. As far as the rest goes, it is innovative, there is no denying that. I'm not sure carbon resonates with it sitting against your body, but you can hear, it sound is unique.

Wow, The Deja Vudoo thing does a tonne of tones. This could save hauling three guitars to the gig. Do all and versatile and really has a sparkle to almost every setting and still warms up when on the neck PU. Individual looking to match the unique tones. That series setting would be my Rockabilly wild tone. I always wonder what everything sounds like with backwards echo? Sublime.

I love the way Justin finds the soul of the guitar he plays, lije this one here, that first sound instantly took me to a dark smokey bar back in the 60s and 70s, you got the middle aged bar tender a couple of ladies of the night . In the corner you've got a few men playing cards . Beads of sweat mixed with cigarette smoke and whiskey on their breath, and then the guy on stage just playing what he wants

That 5 way wiring is slick. You get 3 way (neck, bridge, and both), plus series (position 2), and phase (position 4). Never seen that before. Interesting that they didn't throw in some coil split, it seems a natural - semi-hollow with bright single coils. Your comments about the tone make me realize that spectrum analyzers and EQs would eliminate a lot of the "touchy feely" way we go about describing audio response curves. IE "warm" = a lot of output @ ~250Hz, "bright" = ~8Khz (or whatever), and so on. If you play with an EQ, you can figure out what band you would call what - bright, warm, quacky, spanky, sizzle, bottom end, muddy, flabby, tight and bouncy, resonant, etc. The audio engineer in me tends to think in terms of upper and lower treb, mids, and bass (IE about 6 bands), or I think in terms of frequencies - "Kill 250Hz by 6 dB - get some of that mud out of there". As an audiophile, i'd say anything less than 12 bands is inadequate to bring the best out of any given input signal. As a player and luthier, I've discovered you can make almost any guitar sound almost exactly like any other guitar with just an EQ pedal or two. Seems its all about reproducing frequency response curves - IE the chart that comes with high end speakers. similar curves exist for every component of a guitar - pickups especially - thats 99% of your sound. But wood, brass, other metals, etc, all transmit frequencies differently. You might call them "frequency transmission curves" instead of frequency response curves. So you put together a guitar, and all these frequency response curves superimpose to give you your final tone coming out of the jack. We should all probably be using spectrum analyzers to design guitars to create the exact overall frequency response curves (IE guitar output tones) that we want.

P again your guitar playing is phenomenal and what you're playing does sound great. I fast forwarded the video every 10 seconds and stopped and listened for a couple of seconds and heard like no cords at all. Maybe within that 10 seconds I'm missing some but basically no quotes throughout the whole video that I can tell. I'm blind maybe I'm hearing what I'm not seeing was seeing what I'm not hearing lol whatever that means? But thank you for the video either way dude you didn't get how much the guitar is it might have been mentioned in between my 10-second forwards but I'm sure it ain't cheap. One thing I'll tell you this is definitely something on a guitar that is actually different than unique and not at all a repeat of every single thing that's been done with an electric guitar. I think that's a great thing personally. I'd be interested in buying one but I'm pretty sure it's way beyond my price range LOL anyway thanks again sincerely us, about the blind bedroom guitarist

Very cool guitar design. The giant Brass Block in it as a bridge - reminds me of sort if you hardtail a Strat with the Tremolo Block in it. I should try this on my “project” Telecaster. Only thing missing is a separate tone & volume for each pickup. You could blend pickups then.
