Nice wood selection and I also favor the Alembic style hippie sandwich design. Cool to see you think outside of the box of the body style as well. I am jealous of your Sheppach tools, almost impossible to find in the USA for a decent price. That guitar deserves a hard case though, brother.

That's a very soft wood. Not suitable for guitar at all.

I think EMG only makes solderless pickups. Can be bought as a set - bridge and neck pickup, plus wires, pots, etc.. on their main page or thomann.com.
