Well, he actually created a paradox by seeing himself, and the reason why THIS Commander Carl doesnt recognize who that was, was because of the paradox break. And when he offed his "future" self he rewrote history so that the chances of him following the same path that leads to his death would be extremely improbable. The reason why I know this is becuse the confetti told me.😂
