Stub - only replace ur External routes(E1/E2) into single default route Total Stub - Replace not only external routes(E1/E2) but also inter area routes (OIA*) similerly NSSA Applicable for Stub area {Passing External routes (E1/E2) to other area in a single default route but Inter area routes(OIA*) will be as it is in table} Total NSSA applicable for Total Stub area {Passing External routes (E1/E2) + Inter area routes (OIA*) into single default route}

Hello Sir, Then what is the difference between NSSA, and totally NSSA, i think both are same according to theory. One command is the difference only. Can u please clear.

difference is that in NSSA , ur ospf route will have O*N2 0.0.0.0/0 for external routes and in totally NSSA , ur ospf will have O*IA 0.0.0.0/0 for external route .....that's the only difference
