3:08 Richard Hammond mentioned on a Top Gear review of the LFA that the engineers managed to develop a V10 engine that is the size of a typical V8 (4.8 liter in the LFA) but has the weight of a V6 engine. That might explain why the LFA swapped Supra weighs less than the inline 6 engines from the 2JZ and B58. Also no turbos or intercooler to add weight compared to the LFA V10. The engineering efforts in creating the LFA is just amazing.

That's an easier way to do it but I personally prefer the way the game renders carbon fiber vs the decal ones. Also you can make it any color by slapping a low opacity decal over the whole thing.

In terms of the top speed, ignore the km/h number and put the lines for gears to the edge of the box, if that makes sense; it’ll usually be roughly around the max the car can hit

If you completely retune the RCR EG, it actually becomes a cornering monster. Idk if it's Polyphany Digital's fault in copying it into GT7, or if they copied the settings correctly and RCR just can't tune their car for crap, but once I properly retuned the car myself, it became unbeatable with zero torque steer or grip issues.

dont hate me for it ..... i kitted out my Old b3y Ford Mondeo 3l v6 from 220ish to almost 350 on 92 octane petrol (couldnt go higher due to road safety laws here) and the jump was too much in the beginning so i dont go "its only x-amount of Horses" cause most cars IRL get quite hard to control if you go too high on power. well in the end i kinda blew the engine .... now my shitbox is sitting here with just the 2.0 Duratec HE with 125 hp cause i dont have more money to improve it anymore ^^

Swapping the B58 for a 2jz is kinda like swapping a Ryzen 5 3600 for a decade old Core i5 2500k because of brand loyalty, I mean that in the sense that the JZ is an objectively worse engine but people justify and Cope as to why it's better.... Reason why the 2jz is overhyped: Heavy: (weighs more than a iron block 5.3) To get a GTE it'll cost at least $3,000 If you get the GE it's only going to hold 450whp and is still overweight By the time you make good power it'll cost you $10,000 in cooling,fuel,ECU,turbo,headstuds,gaskets, The chassis that support a JZ from factory are getting more expensive by the day To swap it into a different chassis is going to be at least another $2000-$6000 in mounts and wiring alone This is the engine that cringe 17 year olds say "yeah bro i'm going to 2jz swap my Hyundai accent/golf GTI/Chevrolet C10/Honda Civic/Miata" And yes........ those are real examples of conversations i've had with stupid kids at my highschool... i had a 25 minute conversation with a kid on why it's impossible to swap a 2jz into a porsche 911 and he said "welll brooo with enough money and timeeee dudeeee" And that's the problem... for the same effort you can get something twice as good
