My father fought the Japanese in Burma (now Myanmar) and Malaya alongside the Gurkhas. He praised them as outstandingly brave, courageous, deadly and ruthless. He felt better when they were around.

I know the talk of my Grandparents after the War spoke of feeling safer and honoured to have these brave men in the trenches alongside us. Their loyalty was second to none.

My dad fought alongside the wonderful Gurkhas In Burma against the Japanese. He was also in the Burma campaign. My dad never spoke about the atrocities but always said it was his greatest honour & privilege to serve one side the Gurkhas & what wonderful warriors they are plus so nice & kind. Beautiful people God bless them.🏴
