My grandfather fought alongside the Gurkhas in Burma during WW2. He never had anything but praise for them and I’ve remembered that all my life from being a little girl.

My father fought the Japanese in Burma (now Myanmar) and Malaya alongside the Gurkhas. He praised them as outstandingly brave, courageous, deadly and ruthless. He felt better when they were around.

My dad fought alongside the wonderful Gurkhas In Burma against the Japanese. He was also in the Burma campaign. My dad never spoke about the atrocities but always said it was his greatest honour & privilege to serve one side the Gurkhas & what wonderful warriors they are plus so nice & kind. Beautiful people God bless them.🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿
