As much as I agree with the moral of the story, what if the school did Hairspray as their play? Then wouldn't the cast need to look a certain way for the story, since Seaweed is dark skinned? Or could they use a lot of make up if the actor is good? One more thing: the drama teacher said that they were doing the original version of the little mermaid by hans christian Andersen, but the song is clearly from Disney. Andersen's story is completely different than the movie we all know and love.
