No they absolutely should not ban students with piercings or tattoos. If someone wants to have a tattoo, that's their business and is between the student and their parents ( Unless they're 18 or older because you don't need parental permission at that age).

So true and basically this is why I'd never put my child in private school and I'm glad my dad didn't put me in a private school. Yes it's one thing for certain articles of clothing to be banned in schools because it isn't appropriate for a work setting, but they shouldn't have the right to tell students what they can and can't do when it comes to their body parts. Something like that is between them and their parents and isn't any of the schools business.
