Extreme oversimplification of the situation in Arizona. Kaepernick was great during the 2012 and 2013 season. He beat Brady Arron Rodgers Matt Ryan Russell Wilson. But we all know what happened with him. I still think he could be a decent starting QB in the NFL.
@southbeachtalent5 жыл бұрын
There's gonna be a shitload of documentaries about Kaep coming up for sure. But I gotta call it like I see it. He was GREAT In 2012 and 2013. I thought he'd be the best Q.B in the league by now. But by 2014, with Harbaugh's situation lingering and all that jazz, he regressed. Hard. Now I know that he's passionate about his political stance, but I think it's a fact that he was going downhill quick as a power player in football. Chip Kelly was desperate for good QB play in 2016 and started uhhhh,,,,, Blaine Gabbert. Chip needed a good season after his 2015 Eagles campaign ruined his reputation. If Colin Kaepernick was any good by then, that job would be been his. People need to remember this when you talk about what Kaep "sacrifised." He was done. Everyone knew he was done.
@matthewramirez68965 жыл бұрын
He was a great runner. He wasnt great. He beat some good qbs yeah. His defense was also consistently a top 10 unit with a good offensive line and a youthful powerful frank gore. Shaun Gorzell he started losing it in 2014 after he tore his labrum. The front office made it seem like he was benched for poor play but really he ended up having like two surgeries on his shoulder. Kobe said he would only play for 3 teams (or at least his agent let that be known) otherwise he would play in Europe instead. So the Hornets approached the Lakers and said if we draft him what will you give us. And considering the complete re-tooling they did in that season, they did pretty well.

I disagree with your take on the Kyrie take. Irving REQUESTED his trade. Isaiah Thomas was still nearly as good as Irving. I though at the moment that Cleveland won the trade because they got other players and the Nets first round pick from the Celtics too. But Thomas and the rest of the team got injured causing LeBron to carry the team on his back, while Kyrie performed well on the Celtics. Just unlucky on the Cavs part, then LeBron left. Now they suck again and will be irrelevant for a very very very long time.
