I was fortunate enough to meet Tom a few weeks ago. He is very genuine and VERY funny, very witty. He is a great guy, a great dad, and a great bassist.

Cheap Trick are the real deal....Tom is great...he plays his own way and matches the song. Inventor of the 12-String Bass....Song writing is always hunting and searching for words and sounds and Tom is a pro. Would love to see him play an old Thunderbird IV again.....Cheap Trick still writes really good music...Just happen to have The first Album is in my Car's CD player right now....

cheap trick might be the luckiest band of all time they made it big enough to be world famous and always have work but they never made it big enough to where they didnt have to work they never got that weird sickness rich and famous people get they have had about as good a life as a rock band can possibly have they are the working class of rockstars

Tom, is the funniest guy in the band. He used to have at every show I saw them in the 90''s a stuffed version of Chairy, the talking talking couch from Pee Wee's Play House, on one of his amps. Would that qualify as mascot? 🙃

I remember that too. Saw them open for KISS in 1977, but saw them many times in the 90’s. I believe Tom hid his pack of cigarettes in chairy

ive met tom professionally 3 times. he was an absolute ass every time. i really dont know the guy in this video. when he left he should have stayed gone.
