I met Nikki Giovanni when I was a freshman in college 24 years ago. She has been the ONLY celebrity that I have been star struck by….so wise, genuine and down to earth. She will definitely be missed.

My Uncle introduced me to Nikki when I was 13, and when I tell you he would start me out with her poetry. I never forgot how good I felt listening to her poetry, and the way that my Uncle would tell me this is how I should feel growing up into Womanhood. You’re right about most of the public not landing on Remy’s side because she SOLD us a different story on LHH. He was the loyal husband that always had her back. Then when she was outed for cheating she STILL didn’t out him initially. She built him up on a public pedestal and we bought it. That’s why I always say don’t speak too much on the state of your marriage or at LEAST speak on it with an asterisk 😂. Like yeah we good NOW but we’ve been through some things or yeah we’re good but far from perfect! Jayda just got over a bad virus. It wasn’t Covid either but we thought it was because she had this constant uncontrollable cough, her stomach was jacked up, and she even got pink eye. Sis was down bad. It lasted about a week. Hopefully you get to feeling better soon. ❤❤

Idk if he did or didn’t but I remember on Love and Hip Hop they said that Rem was in a facility where your family could literally come and spend the entire weekend with you. Nights included. They had like dorms for people with families. I honestly think thats why she married him. He had to BEG her to have their daughter. I used to feel uncomfortable watching their scenes.
