With respect to Jeffrey and Mike, these eight men breathe life into every TOTO song. I’m especially going to miss the old warriors Paich and Luke, and the classics they produced over their 40 years. I tip my hat to Joseph. He’s great night after night. And to brother Steve Porcaro, may the Gods bless you for the wonderful music you have brought into the world. Lenny, you have been doing your thing since nearly the beginning. To Shem (who I had the pleasure to chat with in Shippensburg, PA), the well-traveled, and multi-talented Warren, and to the irrepressible Shannon behind the drum kit, you have treated us to some of the best music of our time, and for that, thanks again, and we love you.

Saw them in Columbia, Greensboro and Charleston recently, FRONT ROW in front of Steve each night. In Charleston they signed my, and Steve's in 1998, Ernie Ball/Music Man #2 Pu$$y serial number G03672 'Artist Division' Luke , as he wrote on the back of the headstock, 'Luke', used in Concert as backup #2 for four years. He signed it for me in 2006 while in LA and again 2.27.23 in Charleston. to include all the band members. I wish I could post a picture of the guitar, but I concur with everything you said and you said it so eloquently! It was The Doobie Brothers for me in 1972 and then in 1978 in a small college in North Carolina, my home state, I heard 'Hold The Line' and it was on again. 7 Doobie Brothers and 5 TOTO concerts. Being able to play these songs, but not all the lighting riffs-he's all over the board, is an honor and privilege. Again, excellent tribute to those who are left and make it work!!!

They're playing in the Faroe Islands which is in the middle of the atlantic (goo.gl/maps/4Rzo3KHHNQy), so most of the stuff is probably rented because shipping costs a fortune, and i'm guessing that because it's a population of 50.000, there are probably not that many Bogners around :) Besides, the second head is only used for the power amp, so that you can have stereo delays. Even when he's touring with two Bogners, it's only the one on the right that is providing all the gain/preamp. You can also see that he's not using his normal Bogner cabs.

@ShadowAngel I agree that Shannon is closer to Jeff and also a solid fit for Toto. When I saw them live a couple of years ago with Shannon the one thing I noticed was that some songs had a lower tempo, i'm not sure that was Shannons decision but it really made a huge diffrence to me and made the songs groove so much more. I feel Simon experimented a bit more with the classic songs which is totally fine I mean he was in the band for 20 years so I don't blame him for keeping things fresh if that's what he felt and Shannon played them more like Jeff. Simon is awesome and one thing I loved about him was the drumsound, he always had a very clean sound. I do disagree that Simon struggled with Rosanna, that's something i've never noticed and also Simon is a very dynamic player and I don't see him as a basher at all. He did his own thing in Africa incorporating octobans and imo I thought that worked great, there's a video somewhere of him demonstrating that but I can't find it.
