Here’s the thing , as a 62 yr old male, I demo my 1st bidet toto.. here’s my uptake, these are not just bidet. We in America aren’t familiar with this because a bidet wasn’t a toilet, it was a glorified sink/ tub, to wash after going to the toilet, 2 units. These new bidet toilet seats, are converting toilets into both, extremely new to us. We are Leary when these new products from euro/ Asia come here. My opinion is that America needs to start making these and even better. This is the best thing since sliced bread!

Love your video, Very clear and detailed review that the other videos don't cover. Could you comment on the seamless design? I have been using TOTO Bidets for many years and the seam has been troubling me until I got the C5 last year. I can still see the seam but barely and it's so smooth and doesn't collect debris. Do you know if S7 is another step up from C5 in terms of the seamless design?
@ManyBidetsАй бұрын
The S7 will definitely be a step up. It is also nearly 2" thinner than the C5.

Any tricks to cleaning the seam on the seat? I intend to keep my s550 as long as possible…

A cotton swab or Q-tip can work well to get along the seam!

I squealed when I saw the Sedona Beige swatch on the product listing. Will the S7A (eventually) be available as a Washlet+ set in Sedona Beige with an auto-flush feature?
@ManyBidets Жыл бұрын
Based on the feedback we've received from TOTO, the S7A will offer the same setup as the S550e that it replaced. Namely that it will offer white and beige in seat only form, but only white in washlet+ form. This could always change, but this is the latest feedback we've gotten from TOTO... There is a lot of interest in beige washlet+ units, so maybe at some point TOTO will see that and start offering them, but I've been pushing for it for a while... :-/

Your website doesn't offer TOTO S550E & NEXUS WASHLET + ONE-PIECE TOILET - 1.28 GPF together. Will these two fit if I don't want S7A and stick to S550E ?
@ManyBidets8 ай бұрын
The S550e is discontinued and not available through us anymore. If you find an S550e for sale and want to pair it with a Nexus toilet, you will want to confirm that BOTH are Washlet+ compatible or else the cord/hose will not route through the back of the toilet.

You mention premist/ewater cleaning under the seat in the new s7 seat. However the spec sheet and webpage from toto do not mention this, like they do for ewater seat cleaning on the new neorest offerings such as the LS. Have you received confirmation one way or the other for the S7 models? Thanks for making this video!
@ManyBidets Жыл бұрын
I have received confirmation from our rep at TOTO that the S7 series will also have this feature. That being said, we're currently relying on their word. We are being told we are some of the first to get samples. Once we get samples we will test it for ourselves, and share EVERYTHING on KZbin, so stay tuned!

Do you know the release date? Also will you do a video on the install? I would love to see the auto flush install on a regular toilet
@ManyBidets Жыл бұрын
We're hoping to start shipping them next week! Yes, we will absolutely do an install with it ASAP! No bidet seat currently offers auto flush with a normal toilet. We keep suggesting that though to a few different high end brands. Maybe one of them will come up with something in the future?

Is the S7A shipping yet? i.e. what is the soonest I would have it if I ordered today?
@ManyBidets Жыл бұрын
In stock and ready to ship! When you place your order, we'll have it shipping within 24 hours, 48 at the most.

It looks like the only S7A in Cotton White is SW4736AT40, but it does not mention that it's only compatible with Washlet+. Is that one compatible with all seats then?
@ManyBidets Жыл бұрын
The new versions are compatible with BOTH Washlet+ AND standard toilets! We're very excited about this new development

Oh that’s fantastic!

It's funny, I would think that with where technology is at currently, that "memory presets" would be a snap. Like if you can build a bidet with 4 memorized presets, you could make one with 20 presets incredibly easily for about the same price. But maybe I don't know what the heck I'm talking about.
@ManyBidets Жыл бұрын
You are absolutely correct! It's not so much about the programing (if 2 or 4 can be made, 20 could ABSOLUTELY be made) We've worked with factories in the past to design seats, and can attest to this being the case. Generally speaking companies keep the count down due to not wanting to confuse the operator, not from a lack of ability to add more. I'm personally a big fan of adding more. :-)
