Ya know what. Son, Solanke, insert starting rw, Gallagher in the 8 and we are pressing the life out of teams! Not saying the tactics will help us keep clean sheets but that setup will be hard to play out

​@foggymartin I agree Foogymartin we will press from the front with a signing such as Gallagher. But if Spurs want to attack like Manchester City then they need a midfielder quarterback (a complete midfielder). A Rodri. Who is capable of controlling the play from the centre backs and bring his other teammates into play whilst also protecting the back 4. At Celtic Ange had Callum McGregor to play that position. Spurs currently have no-one who can do that job effectively and to find that type of player is expensive selling club will want a large portion of that money upfront to get a replacement. It is imperative that Spurs also get competition for Van Der Ven he is vital to the way Spurs play. If Spurs are thinking Van Der Ven is going to play every single minute of every game in the league and the cups without suffering from any injuries or fatigue remember he is also a Dutch International so he will have world cup qualifications. Well we shall leave it there

@Phil2109 I completely agree. If our scouting team are worth their wages they'd have identified several quality and affordable DMs across Europe that would improve that troubled position. As for the "competition" for VDV, I fear we have settled for Ben Davies for another window. I think the only excuse for that is we sign a first team DM and RW
