Touareg no communication with TCM, 4x4 and ABS problem

I was having the same problem with my polo vivo 1.4 dsg.this video help me a lot after two weeks of struggling.The car was driving with gear 3 only.I changed the relay then boom.Thanks keep doing more video

Same error,.abs not communicating,relay not working,. the relay should have a constant plus, that's fine, but the wire that connects to the relay has no function,. following the installation, the wire towards the fire wall above has broken at the height of the bonnet opening handle -(engine cover) ! Tracing the wire will find you a break! Good luck!

How did you remove power relay holder harness from the fuse box without braking the plastic fixture the holding harness? I did not see any release point on the retaining box?

i did everything you have done already and i do get tcm on line but still i can only shift from park to reverse no further ...any suggestions?

Could you please provide me with the part number of the relay. I think it read 433 on the video; however, I cannot find the part on Rockauto

I’m having the same problem with my 04 Touareg but my trans also has a very hard shift from 2-3rd gear and once it slips into gear I’ll get the fault and lose communication with trans. Then truck will be stuck in park but problem is intermittent. And if I manually shift it is fine. No fault. I’m worried I may have a bad trans valve body and it’s making me think it’s the same electrical problem your having. I’ve check the wires under driver footwell. Connections ok. I haven’t checked the relay though.

Did u ever figure out if that was the problem?!?! Where exactly did you connect the jumper wire on that relay? And were you able to check the relay to see if it was bad?!?! I have the same issue please I need help!!!

I am having a big issue... car starts fine when cold, but won’t start when hot, as if it had a dead or weak battery problem (new battery though)., I’ve noticed that that same power relay gets really hot when the car has been running a couple of mins. When the car cools a bit, it will start again. I pulled out the relay and tested it using a 12V power source, measured different points and seems to be fine. Still seems confusing because it feels hot when the car is on. Do you thing I should better change that relay? Or do you have an idea why all of this is happening? The car is a Touareg v6 tdi 2009. I will really appreciate if you can share some of your knowledge on this matter. Thank you

I have the same issue with my VW Touareg 2004...and now show up de EPC ligth and don't start. 😭😭😭

@@jomecmaldonadoalvarado75 Did you get it fixed? My problem was an oil leak. It formed a residue of oil on the starter's wiring and inside housing, on an in the alternator, and when the car reached a high temperature, the heated wires didn't allow enough voltage to flow through. This was my issue, but before I got to that point I had to check other stuff.

I know this might not help you. But, I had the same issue with a Honda CRV. It started fine when cold, but not when warmed up. It was a bad PCV valve. There are no issues at all 5k miles later after replacing it.
