i have to say this looks pretty good for a mobile game. i mean its not perfect, its not console level, hell its not even DS level but its a good iPhone game. If your board, have nothing else to do and dont want to turn on your Xbox, Ps3, etc. This is the AVP game for you!

This game looks really cool for a mobile game. But it's annoying that the alien is so slow. Compared to the predator, the alien should be able to at least sprint on all fours. And climb on walls, for that matter, although I understand if that would be hard to implement here.

That was Gearbox scamming SEGA, not AvP. They embezzled funds and put them towards the creation of three separate games, then just sort of passed on the remains to finish Colonial Marines in a rush. And considering how little time the game was remade in due to legal reasons by the smaller group Gearbox outsourced it to, I'd say it came out pretty amazingly to turn out as "this isn't good or bad, it's extraordinarily meh," as it did.

It`s not really the Alien Game I would have expected it to be but still I somehow enhoy it. While this is said I also must mention at the same time that I did enhoy somehow playing the Gearbox Software Alien Game too even I fully agree with everyone at the same time that it was, comparing it to the E3 Demo that was shown about it last Year, totally f*cked up if you compare those two different builds.

i think the new update makes the game alot better. minor bug fixes,predalien, and mosst of all.... the map genorator! you get really bored when you complete all the levels and get a bunch of points and just basically become a BOSS. so they made a map generator!!! where you make your own level and pick the people you want to kill. its a very good update to the game. BUT.. i figured out something... they might be working on online play!

One would imagine that with the technology available that the games based on existing characters would be true to form. Alas. On every platform it is more of the same. Selling the name. Not the game. Were these characters to be modded You would never know their original function. they move, fight, and behave all the same. Just like an NPC human character. What a disappointment. The Aliens movies are great and the first avp was great for its time. the newer AVP felt a little.. will lacking alot of stuff to kill as a marine.

Different clans, different beliefs and motives. While Yautja clan and Jungle clan are known to be merciless, yet they have strong sense of honor. Making the prey like xenos or humans into slaves goes against that honor code. Super Predators are like merciless band of steroid junkies. They are the bandits and borderline "Bad Blood" clan that follows essential rules, yet they dismiss most rules and hate other clans, that have more power.

is it just me or do Combat Synthetics in this game resemble helpless puppies? synths in AVP2 were able to fuck you up, they carried heavier weapons than the typical grunt troops and were much tougher HP wise, oh did i mention because they were Synthetics and not REAL humans you couldnt headbite or claw them to regain lost hp? yeah THOSE were combat synths, smartguns, rocket launcher, minigun, you name it in heavy weapons they could probly have it

AVP2 wasnt a new game so to speak compared to AVP in 1999, it was more of a huge expansion to the original, was made by a totally different team than the 1999 classic but it greatly expanded the original especially in Multiplayer whilee still keeping 100% of what people loved about the original, nothing got screwed with, shit only got added that made it even better, AVP only had 1 character per race for multi but stuff like Predaliens/Praetorians were in campaign, you could PLAY as them in AVP2

how about we make a game that doesnt suck? like AVP2, came out in 2001 and is STILL being massively playing in Multiplayer, to this day, you want a TRUE avp game that deserves the title of "good" then thats your game, if you havent played it, go pirate a copy and do so, the graphics are outdated with todays standards but the FPS experience is unforgettable, theres a reason it was such an acclaimed game, mainly because it was the only Aliens/Predator/AVP FPS that did EVERYTHING right

i dont care what your gender is, you know your shit, and tbh compared to even AVP 1999, 2010 BLEW, in all aspects, multi sucked and campaign wasnt really any better while AVP 1999 was an unforgettable hit classic, i cannot say it was tyruly "the best" as that title belongs to AVP2, for expanding on AVP 1999 in great ways but without fucking with the gameplay that made people love it, if a dev could be trusted to make a graphics-only upgrade to AVP2 theyd be swimming in liquid gold right now

mind you, if a game studio truly did make a graphics only upgrade of AVP2, theyd be swimming in an ocean of cash, youd be shocked how many people would PAY for something like that, even if it was like $100 per copy, AVP1 and 2 arent stillbeing played to this day because of their long outdated graphics, their played because they are a legit quality experience that was truly great, you just cant beat AVP2 when it comes to an Alien/Predator/AVP fps, its too good

everyones raging cus its another shit game that a franchise of this caliber doesnt deserve to be acosted with if you want a GOOD avp game experience, i can only reccomend AVP and AVP2 from 1999 and 2001 respectively, every since then has sucked balls, partially thanks to the Aliens IP rights being in legal hell under the control of sega, and sega is destroying the gaming branch of the franchise, i had hopes for AVP 2010, it blew, i had hopes for Aliens CM...guess what? it sucked

even though AVP2 wasnt made by the same team as AVP, they expanded all sorts of great things without damaging what made the gameplay so good in the original, most of the gameplay features of all 3 races still existed 100%, but now each Race had at least 4 different character classes, stuff like the Predalien/Praetorian/Queen existed in AVP but werent playable in Multi, AVP2 fixed that, basically AVP2 was the only Alien/Predator/AVP fps game that truly DID do everything right

i wouldnt be shocked if AVP 2010 started as something good and then Sega took a look and said "well we like your ideas, but we want you to do this, this, this and that" and thats probly where it went from great to fail....but since the aliens ip is in segas hands we cant trust any developer to make a straight up graphics-only upgrade version of 2001's AVP2, till that happens i dont foresee any quality games, AVP in 1999 was a good start , but AVP2 expanded on it and made it much better

doesnt suck any worse than 2010s AVP1 "remake"....sadly the only good Alien/Predator games to date seem to be the first 2 AVP games in 1999 and 2001, but until Sega gives up the IP rights to the ALiens franchise we likely wont see a good game, because all the good shit happened before the IP rights went into Legal Hell aka Sega, AVP 2010 probly failed so bad likely THANKS to sega, they hired the team that made the 1999 original, but i dobut the team had free reign to create what they wanted to

yeaaa...i have this game and well.... its just a fuck lot of fun!! first off, its a mobile game like ffs come on, complaining about the graphics when i bet most of you fucks have angry birds. Not to mention there is a lot to do within the game such as unlocking new shit for your character plus side missions that will make you keep retrying them to better your own score. Game cost me £3.50 and was a fuck lot better than some ps3 games ive bought for 10X the money.
