Blessing seeking seems to be very less in down south. Southies never touch elders feet for blessing, but request it from close senior relatives or some seniors who is worthy of seeking blessings. I dont know how useful is a blessing is, but when whole heartily bless some one or when we receive such a blessing our mind become happy and content. When ever I hear the birth of a child in my close circle, I bless them because I really want them to be healthy and grow up to become good human beings. I dont know whether I am worthy of blessing anyone but my wish is genuine and strong.

Very well and honestly and courageously said. I have had similar thoughts and last few years and have asked people to stop touching my knees ( no one goes to feet 😅). Agree with your mention of energy circuit getting affected. So I don’t allow people to touch my feet. I no more touch feet of any adults that I know don’t care about me. Also, I just say namaste or pranam or recently say Ram Ram. I wish everyone that may God be with you to guide you always when they say pranam. Yes it’s true that I always know if a man has bad intentions even if I can’t see him or if I am standing at a distance. Most women have this instinct. You are awesome sirji. Mai aaj hi ka incidence bataati hun. Context: lagbhag 3.5 years se mai apne in-laws ke sath nahi rehti. Man mutaav ke karan hi dono parties me ek dusre ke liye bahut bitterness aagai hai. They live in the same city so for the longest time we used to visit them every Saturday. Now my husband still bisits them nearly every Saturday but I stopped an year ago. Jaati fir bhi thi but not every Saturday. Aaj mai bahut time baad unse milne gai. Situation change nahi hua hai par bitterness thora mere mann ke back burner pe thi toh this time when I visited them, i touched their feet. Mujhe nahi pata unke mann me kya tha par woh pair chhute hue mere mann me shaanti, sheetalta thi toh aaj mujhe bad energies feel nahi hui. Par bahut baar jab mann me sheetalta nahi hoti, toh nahi chhu paati unke pair jabki mere mummy papa ke diye sanskaaron me ye kaafi important hai. Food for thought: kya sirf mera mann saaf ho toh saamne waale ki negativity mujhe lagegi?
