The last commercial got to me. When my parents were at work, I'd be home alone with my grandma. When she passed I couldn't cry, it's when I see people who look like my grandma in loads of japanese commercials. I tend to cry a lot. Thank you for helping me reconnect with my feelings.

I'm sorry for the 4 year late reply, but...no. She had nothing to apologize for; that food looked delicious to me.
@ginandromeda1618 Жыл бұрын
@@AnastasiaSaenz I was confused watching that one because I thought that japanese people (and most asian people) don't like wasting food and consider disrespectful when someone doesn't eat their whole plate, they're so adamant about not wasting it that they cook everything on their meat that many westerners throw away like tendons for instance. I guess it's different for kids who are still learning about it, but I'm hispanic and I would make the attempt to eat it even if I didn't like it just to not make the grandma (who's literally the host of the house the kids stepped in with no previous notice) feel bad
@aquitaineq7 жыл бұрын
...sorry but the little rude a-holes would be banned from future visits in my home (ny), seriously, bad guests are like a plague, that food looked amazing.

I learned a lot from the grandmother. When my mother acts strict she snaps a lot and yells sometimes, so when I feel strict I can act angry. It was helpful to see that even a gently-spoken word can be perceived just as strict.

The one with the grandma really hits home for me. Since my parents always working, it's my grandma that oftenly took care of me and my siblings and even cooks for us lunch. Recently my grandma passed away this year and seeing that guy being able to thank and said sorry to her is a chance that i could never have gotten 🥺😭.

All of these add say something about the Japanese culture. That the young men aren't that grateful for all they have and that maybe someday they will thank you. That doesn't mean it happens but that is the dream of the older generation that the younger will appreciate them. All three add were the same message. Ungrateful kids, guilty parents. In the USA we could never have an add like that, cause the parents are busy but they really don't care that their kids are off the rails. The parents feel justified, cause they have money and give everything to their kids except their time. Meal time is a thing of the past. Not mush love on either side.

Can somebody tell me please, what cooking food has to do with gas company?
@japinthegap8 жыл бұрын
their schtick is that gas is used to power the stove to make the food. it's not an unusual marketing tactic, a lot of companies around the world advertise themselves as more than just a product, but a part of a lifestyle. appealing to emotion to sell their product is generally more effective than just saying, hey! we sell gas!

Kokoro You have always been dear to me, even when you fall, there is always so much love in what you do. You understand perfectly that even in things that are taken for granted such as providing gas to people, you contribute in some way to helping families and therefore creating beautiful memories. I wish you all the best, dearest Yamato people.

She cooks for me and I make sure she stays alive so she can be happy and I'm afraid of not knowing how to do that for someone else... Nana i love you and your still here with me teaching me and helping me get my shit together because I help pay the bills and i may misunderstood what you say but I know for a fact you do this to love me and help me... I love you nana thank you. Im 22 living with you and gladly helping of course because i want you to be happy. And im happy for what you do for me
