ever since Skorn Da Bask came out i felt its filter is absolutely gorgeous. does any of the other, newer TouellSkouarn modules feature this filter design ? Ao Merc also sounds quite interesting but i suspect its a different filter topology, no? thanks PS in general, pity there aren't more demos of all of these wonderful modules..

Hi ! yes the "Ar Merc'het Brao" module contains the same filter (twice :) and in front of the filter there is an gentle overdrive, cv cutoff inputs, and dual mono or stereo use...

@@touellskouarn6916 oh i see, so only the slope has changed from 24dB to 12dB ? reason for my question was that, from demos it seemed Skorn also has some sort of subtle saturation, but it does sound different from Ao especially in top end.. its more liquid, less dry and edgy. both interesting sounds, just have to make a choice.. ;)

@@clusterchord1 they're exactly the same 12b filter (skorn and ar merc'het), with the ar merc'het you can dial the amount of overdrive you like before going into the filter.

@@touellskouarn6916 i see, i was misled by info on your site and on Schneiderladen, both state Skorn is 24dB/Oct,, probably a typo then..

Is possible to give envelopes and sequences?

There are 3 cv in (one for each oscillator) you can feed them what cv you want, but they are not V/oct, so you may have impredictable results. only the filter cv input can be played V/oct if it is in self resonate mode.
