Yaris overtake was a stupid Moment in a very beautiful driving session. Need to pay more attention.
@tougesardinia Жыл бұрын
grazie! abbiamo degli spotter lungo il percorso che ci avvisano via radio, quindi i pericoli sono ridotti al minimo...anche se la prudenza non è mai troppa.

The Yaris overtake at 1:00 was a bit sketchy as it looked like you didn’t have enough view in case someone like yourself was coning the other way. I enjoyed the driving though,

You're right man, but coming down I had so much visibility on the previous stretch of road. Thanks for the view and keep following us, we will drive safer 🙏🏻

@@tougesardinia After seeing that move, it motivated me to stop watching. That being said, glad you've elaborated on the context. And to be honest, I've done the same thing in the past; if you can see the next 1/4 mile of road before the tight, blind left, most certainly, a car isn't going to appear. However, as the years have gone by, I've wisened up to realized there might be an elderly human slowing making their way up that lane on a bike... or something else as precious... Shite, I've even swerved to avoid a porcupine on a tight right. So, you never know :o) Cheers from Charlotte, NC!

We are trying to improve our safety, now we have people along the track who radio us about any dangers.

@@tougesardinia Japanese hashiriya usually drive at night, that way you can tell if any upcoming car by its head light shining ahead. You can tell way before it actually comes out of a corner. When I bumped into slow cars on touge, I used to just slow down, let it go ahead and spin turn there with e-brake and went opposite way until I bump into another slow car.

I mean... no offense to the driver or you but you have to watch more it seems like you've seen like 10 mainstream driving videos, watch best motoring series.

@@tougesardinia revisited your videos once again, because seriously considering to get an elise for myself after watching your touge videos. is the elise enjoyable/drivable once the temperatures are not summeresqe? cheers from the austrian alps!

it was a designed a track car first, road car second. the lotus way. simplify, then add lightness. i remember going to a lotus dealer. there was an elise, exige and evora right on display, in front of the glass window. we went in with my friend, and i was a jdm weeb at the time, i knew nothing about lotus and generally didnt like "supercars" and lotuses looked like supercars (theyre actually sportscars lmao) but god DAMN i was never so impressed by how simple an beautiful a car could be. we have seats, a steering wheel, a bunch of gauges, and that was it. even the undertray of the car was bare metal, there was no carpet. i fell in love with how simple it was. it hid nothing from its design. so retro, and analog. but at the same time it looked beautiful. its was exactly like looking at the form of a fencer. elegant, beautiful, but so so so very simple.

Very nice driving!! 120Hp is plenty. I was expecting an other kind of pigs :-)

Thank you! Hp are never enough, but with this machine you can be satisfied with very little.

How much does that Elise weigh? Is it stock? Seems to have a great power to weight ratio
@jimbotron22 жыл бұрын
Series 1 Elise is 1600 lbs
@tougesardinia2 жыл бұрын
The car is stock, mechanics have 20 years behind them. Weighs 820 kg with driver and half fuel tank, moves well for having 122 hp.

@@tougesardinia amazing to think that my Civic is capable of making that type of power with virtually no tuning and probably some simple parts swapping, and this car can do so much with that amount of power

Great video. I’m doing a short documentary on the Lotus Elise on my diecast car channel. May I borrow some footage in this video for it? I can send you the finish video as well.
