I think you are making the right decision, you don't seem like a Vette guy. BUT, we will see....I would never take a BMW over a Vette, but I'm a Vette guy. In the end, I know you will be happy either way. I like cars like you like cars, that we do have in common. Congrats on the Civic.

it comes down to which car feels more special. Unfortunately there’s nothing special about C8s as you can tell, people lean more towards the C7s between the two. F8x aging very well even tho G8x are better overall, yet we pick the special ones. In this case F80 M3, good job!

Always great videos Ed 😊...I think the M3 is the better choice...I've always enjoyed your videos and have been here for the ///M content moreso the F85 X5M...I agree with you in terms of the analog feel (also why I love the F85 X5M) but not to mention one of the best looking modern M3's on the road. The F series ///M cars were nicely designed and feel they will age well. You also have history & sentiment with the M3 which is not always something you can put a price on...I still find the X5M exit video touching but look forward to the day you bring a G05 X5///M Competition to the channel. Once an ///M, always an ///M🙏

i think you made the right choice. i’m saying this knowing very well that i am biased, as i own same car ar your wife’s, MY2022. but corvettes are a dime a dozen in SoCal. a well maintained F80 M3 is rare to see! and its a jack of all trades. you even mentioned it, you can fit a family inside!

I live in a coastal vacation town. C8 Corvettes are a dime a dozen here. There's nothing impressive about a retired dentist/lawyer/businessman driving down the street at 30mph in one of those things. A well maintained F80 M3, though, is unique for all the reasons you listed. A normal person might not give it too much attention, but a car enthusiast will know what you have is special. Then again I'm a fellow BMW owner so I'm definitely biased.

The M3 is a jack of all trades while the Corvette is a one trick pony, in my opinion. However, that V8 is why I bought a 2014 RS5. Tough decision, but I think you made the right choice. In terms of reliability, I agree with you. The two BM’s I owned were rock solid. Still have the X5.

Why didn't u get the zo6 in the first place ? are you realizing a loss on these flips when you take into account the pdf , other assessories and Im assuming interest on the loans you take out?

Personally it is a good balance of performance and luxury as it is quick fast and luxurious and pretty fuel efficient for what it is as you can get 30 to 32mpg on the highway is insane espually for the performance you get 3.2 0 to 60 and 11.5 quarter mile

Hard disagree. I’ve had plenty of people stare at my E9X and compliment it. The same goes for F87 M2. That corvette is becoming common place. Also as someone with a family I can attest to being able to bring your kids along to fun car events.
