Hi! The Foxwell tool or something similar is needed for calibration of the transfer case. It can also be helpful tool for removing errors and performing other task.

I remember a few times getting, new plates or having some used ones in the trunk, but the last two cars, I drove off the lot with plates already installed and the usual temporary registration on the windshield and new year/month stickers arrive about a month later.

F85 is the chassis code for the 2015-2018 X5M. It’s simply makes it easier to describe the body style when speaking to other BMW enthusiasts.

Not just California its a North American problem. The only places where left lane losers get theirs is in Oklahoma and most places that are country road 2 lane designs enforce the left lane passing ony laws but in the big cities in North Amerca Canada and Mexico included ITS A BIG PROBLEM! TBH mostt left lane losers are antagonistic narcissists who thrive on the idea that they can control others speeds, make people wait and cause them to be late wiithout caring about why a driver might want to pass them could be an emegency or even an emergency vehicle they aren't moving for anyone. The only way to eliminate this is to aggressively enforce left lane passing only laws.

I had a Range Rover Autobiography loaned to me for a week from a family member. It had the same supercharged V8. I never understood why people bought RR until the end of the week. That thing was beautiful to drive. Big, fast and luxury. They dont keep em long enough for anything major to appear. However, i did own as a personal car a Lexus IS350 F-Sport. Lexus was not afraid to charge for maintenence and it wasn`t imprevious to repairs. A 10k service, oil/ filter change was $275 here in Las Vegas. Major 120k service, plugs, serpentine belt, brake fluid, all filter and oil change was $1600. It also had a rattling from the roof. That turned out to be cables for the sunroof that detached from the roof. Quote was $5500. No thanks. Still loved that car tho, and miss it. Good luck on the RR, hope she treats you right.

Good video. Based off this short content it looks like your sport performed better than the new sport.
@eddiemcars13 күн бұрын
Yeah. I think the new Sport didn’t have locking rear differential or Lo range 4wd. I think if he kept the throttle down during the wheel spin, it would’ve figured it out.
@DrivenHard14 күн бұрын
Great video man. Not only is the Range Rover Sport nicer to drive then an X5, its so much safer then pretty much anything else you can buy in that segment. How the traction control is programmed when you need to do evasive maneuvers on dry pavement or slippery conditions, it gives you so much more control over any other brand.
@eddiemcars13 күн бұрын
I agree! It’s a really great system that’s well thought out! I’m glad to have to opportunity to play with those. I watched a few of your videos off road as well. You really push the limits! 😂

At 41:22 what you could have done is press DOWN on the height control and it would have dropped a few mm and noticed it was bottomed out and it would atomically raise and then it give you 2 more off-road height options to give you more ground clearance

Yes. Any car, the oil should be changed after a year as the oil holds moisture.

Hey man Great vids I was changing the front pads and when I was pushing in the calipers I noticed fluid leaking under the car. Do you know if this is a problem now. What should I do? Thank you
@eddiemcars14 күн бұрын
You have a brake fluid reservoir. As pads wear out the piston extends and more brake fluid is needed in the line. If you or service center topped off the brake fluid during a service visit in between pad changes, you’re going to have too much fluid when you change the pads. Most likely when you pushed the pistons in to accommodate the new pads, the brake fluid leaked out through the brake fluid reservoir cap and dripping on the floor. To avoid this you can play a shop towel or rag around the reservoir to catch excess fluid or if you know for sure, you can take a syringe or turkey baster to remove some prior to the pad change. It’s not an issue. Once you pump the brakes after pad change, it should pull the fluid back through the lines. It’s a good idea to double check the level before you set off.
@ezetella569114 күн бұрын
@ thanks for your quick reply. How do I check the level of break fluid? Nothing happen when I changed the passenger side. Only the driver side Thanks again for you help Changing the rear brakes today
