I agree about the footage shot with your helmet mount insta 360, it makes sense in a vertical orientation. I think for longer videos i prefer the horizontal perspective. Thanks for your effort and your entertaining videos!

Thanks for your nice feedback! Yes, the vertical orientation is great for Insta360 footage on the helmet. And it's easier to edit in the app. But you are right, for longer videos (holding phone with both hands on couch, or bigger screen) the horizontal format may be better. I will try vertical for a couple of videos and then may go back to horizontal, depending on the feedback I get.

i didnt see you often with this wing ! i personnaly hate square ratio and vertical ( short) this format is more for instagram tiktok and thing like that tbh. people get feeded with short automaticly on youtube so sometime im making some ( and get around 1300 view really quick) but short format is def not a video you want a watch on a pc or a tv. some other people take some bit (sometime best part) of their video and make some short while keeping and publishing the regular format my buddy "emi surf channel" doing that, and it's probably the best way to use them.

Yeah I barely use that wing. Thanks for your feedback! I don't really feel like producing shorts on top of normal videos. So this is a little experiment for the normal videos now. I do like it better for the Insta360 footage. Also it is easier to edit in the Insta360 app. But if people don't like it, I might go back to horizontal videos.

What Stab are you useing?

Gong Fluid 45 (260 cm²). It's the big one for the high-aspect foil.

No. I only have this one. For the XL front wing this is the right size stab as far as I understand
