As for tonight, yeah it's tough. Penalties and faulty execution cost us the game, Baker's gonna remember that fumble. He was always the guy that gave everything (my god that run, I was screaming) with huge upsides but also bad payoffs like the fumble and int's. Very much like Favre. Offense and defense firing on all cylinders the last few games and then each side gets several players injected back into it that hadn't been playing for several weeks. You do NOT do that in the first round, Bowels is a terrible HC

Commanders fan here, I want to say that I don’t have any finger nails left from biting them all last night lol. I will say our defense stepped up when it mattered more than usual against a scary bucs offensive attack. Both these teams will be quite competitive for a good while into the future, and I’m all for it. I found your channel last night while riding the post-doink high 😂 I enjoy your content and your takes, and will certainly continue watching your stuff to see through the eyes of a bucs fan. Another Commanders fan here. Great game that both teams deserved to win. I agree that the Bucs fans deserved something less cruel than having the game winning kick bounce off the upright and through the goalpost. Straight through the goalpost would have been kinder. Had we been playing Dallas, however, I might have even enjoyed seeing the ball ricochet off the uprights a few times before going in, but I respect TB and their fans too much 😊. As for Bowles, don’t forget that being a constant contender keeps each season enjoyable. Back in the Gibbs era, I got spoiled. Any season that Washington didn’t win the SB was a failure. Then, Snyder came along and I learned the true meaning of failure. From what I saw last night, and in the opening game, TB has the talent and coaching to win it all. Any season that TB is in the playoffs, they will have a reasonable shot at the league championship.

It was another solid season. Win the division, get into the tournament: with the best-of-1 format, the playoffs are always a crapshoot. This was a really good game between two evenly watched teams, and someone had to be the hard-luck loser. TB is still in a good position as long as Baker is the QB.

Good season. Frustrating game to say the LEAST. Coverage was horrible here. We shouldn’t be making these mistakes (penalties, miscommunication). Commies were 4-13 last year and they’re playing clean football. We’ve been beating ourselves in all our losses. We made no moves before the trade deadline, which made it seem that we didn’t believe in ourselves. All the teams that won this weekend did make moves. We have a great fighting spirit and star players. Above average coaching. But severely lacking depth. ALSO we could only make stops within 10 yards of the goal, wtf???

That is the problem I see with Baker. Is he going to be "good but never great", or at least great enough to take you to the SB? Personally, I love Baker as a player, his passion and toughness. But overall, he seems inconsistent and makes too many turnovers. There are a lot of great young QBs in the league now, and they could pass Baker and leave the Bucs in the situation of being competitive and maybe making the playoffs but not able to make a deep run or win the SB. I am a Vikings fan, and wonder the same about Darnold. He has a chance to redeem himself tonight, but if not, I think we have to move on. It was interesting though, the younger QBs seemed to either play really well or completely fall apart. Darnold in the last regular season game, Love, and Herbert were horrible, and never even seemed to be able to get their act together at all as the game wore on. Daniels and Stroud, OTOH, were exceptional. Even Nix showed flashes, although ultimately Buffalo was too talented for the Broncos (my highlight of the playoffs so far is seeing Sean Peyton, Mr. Bountygate, get eliminated).

We were the better team tonight and shot ourselves in the foot. Defense has been spectacular in the second half past 6 games now and our offensive miscues both including our two rookies costed us the game. We’ll draft better to help our defense for next season and we’ll be back true contenders.

The better team doesn't consistently lose games cause of poor execution, that's called a good team. I knew going into this that tampa would lose, cause the defense is so sorry my grandma could throw for 300, coaching is atrocious with poor tackling, baker actively terrorizes the team when it matters most (turnovers at the most important parts of the game and misses key throws). I'm tired of tampa fans blaming refs or injuries for their team being mid at best. But hey, if you're okay with being consistently mediocre then keep thinking your team just played bad one time.

What a shame. I blame Bowles. He's too soft, and their pass defense is weak. He blew the Rams game back in 21. Mayfield is a keeper don't worry. Bucs are coming on they need a Dan Campbell style coach. Arians was a nasty jerk, and he screwed Antonio Brown. If AB had been on the team for Brady to target, Bucs would have won the Rams game and repeated as SB champs. Yes, it was a weird season. Keep it up Bucs, find a coach that really pushes the team in a positive way, not a negative way like Arians did, (let's fadce it Brady was the motivation on that team) and get a better pass defense. Bucs are on the right path, in my opinion.
