Just watching the gameplay here, it kind of reminds me of one of the things I really liked about this game. It puts into perspective the skill in fighting of the Mario Bros. When you play as Bowser and you see the damage he does by comparison to them, you _feel_ how much more physically powerful he is. There are enemies the Bros can run into, that bowser instantly stomps on and kills without even getting into the fight screen. At that, it shows that Bowser himself isn't just a mindless brute, and has a good amount of skill fighting as well. And yet at the end credits, like always, they take him down (and after that whole adventure, I was honestly kind of rooting for him at that point lol)

I very much agree putting my personal bias aside since bowser is my favorite character, he more then just a mindless beast he has plans the go pretty in depth and he has magic that puts Kamek's magic to shame to see him lose to the bros at the end was a little sad but the ending with the cake made it so much better he really deserved that especially all the stuff he went through

@@Cobalt957 pro-strat: don't overlevel, use extremely OP special moves, or farm for the best gear if you're just trying to have fun. There are very few fights that can't be beaten purely by decent strategy & having a decent inventory of recovery items.

@@penguin84101 not really. in normal playthrougs i just kill the bosses in the end in two turns because the bro attacks are busted. like the star mix does 500 damage with def drops etc. and the mystic window or how its called does infinite damage if you are good at this. and the bosses at the end only have around 1000 hp and so does the final boss which isnt much at all.

One thing I always loved about this game is taking seemingly goofy or ill-fit instruments and putting them in serious and hectic songs/situations. Accordions, Xylophones, and Harpsichords for battles and boss themes made them still feel serious, but with a Mario flair that tells you "this is an incredibly wacky situation, but definitely a serious threat." It's literally perfect!

@@proarmenator774I've played it relatively recently and i have many reasons to say why its one of the least favorites of the series. The combat just gets long and tedious at certain point and the repetitive battle music doesn't help at all. Bowser and his baby version are just filler, and not the good one, i can say that was one of the worst Bowser iterations ever. You have to buy the items instead of using Syrup and stuff, and you get really few chances to make a stop and buy stuff. The game Drags on and on towards the end and the final boss battle its really damn tedious (idk if i was underleveled or smth but it felt like an eternity)

This Remix Slaps Hard... Should We Be Careful? References aside, Bowser's Inside Story is my all-time favorite Mario RPG and this represents playing as Bowser to a T!
