Assalam.... I am so impressed with Bro Isa. I knew that Gansu Prefacture is residing majority by Chinese Hui Muslim on top of Xinghai and Ningxia. I've watched lots of documentaries showing how Muslim in these Prefactures living their life as a Muslim. And of course, there are pious Muslim and there are Muslim but not really practising Islam in their daily life...which is normal and can be seen in other Muslim countries as well such as in Arab itself, in Malaysia,in Indonesia, in India etc. But what impressed me a lot about Bro Ma is that, his capabilities to speak English very well... Despite of growing in Muslim family that is not really practising islam as what it supposed to be...after mingle around with Muslim from other area/countries, he took that opportunity to explore more about Islam and eventually lead him to the right path to get better understanding about Islam and making him to become a real Muslim. Alhamdulillah... Even a Muslim living in a country populated majority by Muslim not realize this...or perhaps they take it for granted by believing that as long as they live in Islamic country, they should be fine and no need to push hard themself to become a good Muslim ... What Bro Ma shared in this video is not solely talking about Chinese people alone but about human around tge world. with all due respect, I always wonder why a brother from country like Pakistan would think Chinese Muslim or Islam in China as unique. I'm a Chinese Muslim, and I see Pakistani in my country very often. Many Pakistani come to China to do business, study. In Friday when muslims from different countries come to Masjid in big cities of China, for Jumma prayer, we would naturally greet each other. How come these Pakistani Muslims or Muslims from other countries didn't tell their families that there are local muslims in China when they go back. Because if they do, the muslim world won't be so surprised when they hear the word "Chinese Muslims".

I respect brother Isa and understand that he has to be cautious when answering certain questions if he is living in China. But, I wanna say just one thing. What's going on in so called Xinjiang is not because they were threatening the regime, my 56 year old sick mother wasn't threat to them when they put her into concentration camp for 6 months and died right after she was released, which I found out only one and half years later about her death, yes ,in this technology age. Downloading an educational Islamic lecture is not a threat to the government which was the"cause" of my brother to be sentenced to 15years in prison. He was just a young dad to three kids, his wife was only 26 for God's sake. This is just a small portion of what happened to my direct family. What Chinese government is doing towards Muslims in that area is pure evil. Period.

Its because they are afraid that they can't control the Uihgur because Uighur are not Han Chinese, they have different language and different culture from the Han chinese, not to mention Xinjiang is a rich region with oil, gas and jade and bordering many other foreign country like Pakistan and Turkmenistan and other nation, that is why they persecuted the Uighur so much. They only used our religion as a cause to persecuted the Uighur. The Hui Muslim who are Han chinese are persecuted also but not as much as the uighur. So im so sorry for what happened to your family, the only way to stop this is to make Hijra and move from China, no matter what we cant fight them because we are not powerful enough.
