Yes, Tech's schedule is always tough because they always play Georgia. But it's also worth noting, this is the first year that Tech is not playing Clemson in 80+ years. Imagine this same schedule with Clemson, and you have the schedule Tech faced in 2015, coming off an 11-3 Orange Bowl championship in 2014. Tech's record in 2015? 3-9, including an improbable win vs #9 FSU, with a blocked FG returned for a TD on homecoming.

Wow, I didn't realize they had been playing Clemson for so long. At least it is not the early 80s when you joined the ACC and played the ACC schedule, plus Bama, Tennessee, Auburn, and UGA. I remember the FSU ending so vividly. That 2014 GT team was good and beat a really good Miss State team in the bowl game. But it's really hard to create momentum year in and year out with this type of schedule. I do like GT as a program tho and believe in Brent Key moving forward.
