I kept saying to you, as you were reveling on how nice today's trail was..."just wait til Donalds Hill and the crap bog between there & the Rigged Hill windfarm!" You showed MUCH more restraint in your description than I did. I did not film my walking/falling on that part because I was too busy falling down & cursing. And just when you get on pavement..they put BACK in a bog!! Cursed, wretched trail. 😠 Plus, you had junk weather. But you MADE it! 🎉🏆🥇

We BOTH made it, Trail Sister!! (But, I watched your account of your ascent from your tent that day, and I totally GET IT!) I actually edited so much more I had to say about that bog-crossing after Donald's Hill - the video was simply too long - but seriously, SO dangerous/ridiculous!

I think the problem is that ulster way is an older trail where paper map and compass full wild walking was included and expected, and now its western section has been added in with the beara breifne to compose the longer Ireland Way through hike. I hope to maybe have time to through hike both at some point in the fairly distant future, if life circumstances and health will allow for it.
