This route is the easiest hike up to the escarpment in the whole of the Drakensberg! Just a bit of a stretch to call it the toughest...

Cool video. Seems like an epic journey! Do you need to hike to the falls, or can you get there with a vehicle as well somehow?

Thanks. It will live long in our memories. So there is a 7 km 4x4 only road to the Sentinel Peak parking lot and then a 6km hike (12km return) to the Tugela Falls and back. It can be done as a day trip hike and the 4x4 road starts at Witsieshoek Mountain Lodge.
