Terra Ashley I didn't meant "hell" as hard, but as in the "bullet hell" genre that it's like Space Invaders but mostly consisting of not touching bullets. In the Omega Flowey battle all RPG elements dissapear and the battle takes up all off the screen, becoming a more clasicall bullet hell. Of course there are other hard battles there, genocide Sans and Undyne. Maybe others depending on the person.

For those who don't know, Touhou NEVER was that hard on vanilla difficulties. ''Ultra'' is hacked difficulty level. Also, Ultra always comes with TAS, so everytime he gets hit, he bombs (if he does have a bomb)

Agreed. Even if you have a hard time in Touhou, you can still appreciate some of the really cool patterns made with the bullets. I believe if you highlight "Hard" difficulty in one of the games, the description will say "You can still have fun over pressure!" or something among those lines. And quite frankly, that's very true, since even through all my frustration, I still have my enjoyment from playing a fun game with pretty danmaku patterns.

@Meiocan More or less, yes. Different games have different bomb mechanics, in 10 and 11 you consume one level of power in order to bomb, in others bombs and power have completely different metters. You can actually bomb at the same moment you are hit by a bullet and you won't die, but in some games that will cost you 2 bombs instead of one.

It makes a little dying sound, And the hitbox is the tiny little box in the middle of the player (Reimu). The hitbox appears when the player is using ''Focus mode'' (Holding Shift) Which helps the player dodge bullets. If a bullet hits your hitbox, You lose a life. To gain more lives you need to either collect those blue squares for a decent score or get a 1 up from some mid bosses.
