Really tough game. This game can really punish you if either a wrong move is made or RNG dictates it. Stage one is responsible for 70% of my resets to stupid things such as; a rock hiding behind a big fairy, Kisume for whatever reason firing a three way after the spell ends, and Yamame's first Non-spell ( which is very scary).
The rest of the game is fairly tame until Stage four which is just filled with difficult streaming portions and Orin twice. Satori does not help with the weird nons that can sometimes clip the player and the final three spells bar Border of Wave and particle (assuming the safe spot is used) are really unforgiving and can quickly eat way lives. Stage 5 is a nightmare with opportunity costs for example does one choose to do cat walk or skip it? both have their own nasty consequences with skipping means being greeted by a nasty portion of stage 5 and doing it means risk losing power or lives on a moderately difficult non-spell and an unforgiving spell in Cat Walk. Orin is ok, here main difficulty in my opinion stems from her last Non-spell and Hells needle mountain and maybe her 2nd spell card.
Stage 6 is short but stressful in that mis-streaming can kill you and hells blazing wheel is essentially "Did you time your strafes right?"kind of spell card.
Utsuho is not too hard but capping some of her spells are very tricky but her nons are all trivial to an extent.
